Report of attempted luring of young children August 18.

RCMP La Ronge have received two reports involving possible luring of young children. The first incident occurred on August 18, 2008 when a man in a light blue truck approached a six-year-old girl and attempted to get her into his vehicle. The young girl ran into a house. The male is described as an older, heavier set Aboriginal with a beard and shoulder length black hair. The second incident was reported later on the same day, and involved two eight- year-old girls who were playing in a neighbourhood park when they were approached by an older male who asked them if they wanted candy. The male is described as Caucasian with longer hair and a beard. This male was also driving a light blue truck.
