On 2010-01-23 at 1:28 AM  the La Ronge RCMP responded to a complaint of a male that had been assaulted on the Fairchild Reserve, La Ronge District, SK.  RCMP members located the victim at a residence with severe wounds who was eventually transported to the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.

RCMP arrested  two persons for this offence with one person still evading arrest.

A warrant for the arrest of Grant Kenneth MCKENZIE age 21 has been obtained for Attempted Murder and Aggravated Assault.

Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating Grant McKenzie who is from the La Ronge District. Police are advising not to approach this man since he is considered dangerous. 

Grant Kenneth MCKENZIE is described as male, first nations, black hair, brown eyes, height 173 cm (5'-8") and weight 70.5 kg (155 lbs). Slim build.

Richard RUPERT is wanted by the Toronto Police Service on a Canada Wide Warrant for a number of frauds and robberies targeting senior citizens. Rupert is a suspect in a large number of occurrences spanning right across Canada.

RUPERT befriends senior citizens, convinces them he’s a nephew, a distant relative or in some cases a member of building management. He then asks for money, usually for car repairs. Rupert gets the victim to attend a bank with him where they withdraw a large amount of money and give it to him believing he intended to repay the money.

The North Battleford R.C.M.P. is seeking the public's assistance in locating William Lee WRIGHT, age 29, of the Moosomin First Nation, Saskatchewan.   A warrant has been issued for the arrest of WRIGHT for numerous offences including: Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon, Pointing a Firearm, and Uttering Threats resulting from an incident that occurred on Sunday evening, January 17, 2010 on the Moosomin First Nation.

Punnichy RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in locating Reginald James Wolfe. There is a warrant out for the arrest of Wolfe on a charges of sexual assault, sexual interference as well as obstructing a Police Officer. Wolfe failed to appear in Punnichy Provincial Court on August 13th, 2009.  Wolfe is originally from the Muskowekwan First Nation which is located near Lestock, Saskatchewan, approximately 100 km's west of Yorkton.
