On July 31, 2024, three suspects broke into the Waverly Hotel in Melville in the early morning. The suspects attempted to enter the bar from the hotel but were unable. The suspects slashed the bar owner’s truck tires and then broke into the bar by smashing the front window. The suspect that entered the bar stole bottles of “show” beverage alcohol and all three suspects departed on foot.
One male youth was identified, arrested and charged. The Melville RCMP is requesting assistance in identifying the remaining two suspects.
