Sometime between December 28th and December 30th, 2024, the Pike Lake Volunteer Fire Department was broken into by unknown suspects.
Several thousand dollars of life saving tools and equipment were stolen including a Genesis brand jaws of life tool, various Milwaukee saws, 16 batteries and several amber emergency beacon lights used to assist with landing helicopters.
