Swift Current Rural RCMP have received reports of an elderly person in Cabri that has been targeted with various crimes between 2019 and 2024.
-Eggs thrown at their garage
-Postings on the community bulletin board insulting them by calling them the village idiot
-Soup, minnows, and oil have been thrown on their truck
-Village idiot has been gratified on his shed and water tank
Since April of 2024, crimes against this person have escalated to assault with a pellet gun. The victim has been shot and injured twice with pellets.
