Mischief to Garbage Bin/Dangerous Driving

The Lanigan RCMP and Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance from the public in solving a mischief that occurred between November 6th and 7th, 2019 at Lanigan. Sometime during the night, a newly installed garbage bin on Downing Drive was driven into and damaged. Tire tracks around the bin indicate that a vehicle was performing stunts and driving dangerously when it hit the bin.

Police have received numerous complaints about youth driving dangerously in town. The recent snowfall and freezing conditions adds to the potential of serious injury even at low speeds. Police are urging the public to immediately report and document any dangerous driving incident that they see happening. Information such as, dates, times, locations, license plates, descriptions of vehicles, descriptions of passengers, other witnesses, road conditions, and any other specifics relating to the event can help police in issuing tickets to drivers that fail to follow the rules of the road.

If you have information about this or any other crime, please contact Humboldt RCMP at 306-682-2535 or you may contact Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip online at www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
