Vehicle Theft-Pelican Lake First Nation

On November 12th, 2019, at approximately 7:00 P.M. in the community of Pelican Lake First Nation, Saskatchewan, an Elder reported that his 2007 grey Dodge Nitro had been stolen from the gas station while he was fueling the vehicle. The vehicle was located three months later, damaged and missing all of the tires. Attached is a photo of the person responsible for the theft.

Wanted-Christos Eustathios Fotopoulos

In December of 2016, the Yorkton RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS) initiated a fraud investigation into the development of a large retail clothing store on Broadway Avenue in Yorkton, SK.

A general contractor company from Calgary, named GNRL Construction, won a bid to renovate a clothing store. Several other local companies were subcontracted to complete the project.

During the course of the investigation, it was determined GNRL Construction fraudulently failed to pay the subcontractors for the work completed.

The Yorkton GIS have actively been trying to locate the owner of GNRL Construction and have issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of Christos Eutathios Fotopoulos (DOB: 1982-03-22) of Calgary, AB.

Fotopoulos is charged with Fraud over $5000, Theft over $5000 and Breach of Trust under the Criminal Code.

City of Warman Tool Theft

Police file 2020-87622

Sometime between 2020-01-19 and 2020-01-20, a black WESTWARD tool case containing various sized wrenches and sockets was stolen from a City of Warman work truck that was parked at a residence in Warman. The value of the tool set is approximately $100.00

Cafe Break & Enter Near Colonsay

On Sunday February 10, 2020, a breal & enter occurred at the Blue Horizon Café located at the intersection of Hwy 16 and Hwy 2 near Colonsay, SK. Three Individuals, one of
whom was wearing a mask, broke in to the café around 1:00am and attempted to steal cigarettes but were unable to open the locked case. The individuals stole several cans of beer and drove off northbound on Hwy 2 in an unknown vehicle.

Waitress Robbed-Cut Knife

Cut Knife RCMP are looking for a male who robbed a waitress at the Lucerne Hotel shortly after closing on 2020-02-14 at approximately 1:00am. The male was described as indigenous, approximately in his 40s, standing approx 5'11", 180lbs, wearing a black sweater with grey stripes on the arms, with black pants, and black mid ankle boots, with a black toque. The male took off on foot, and it is not known if there was a vehicle involved.

On February 13, 2020, Fort Qu'Appelle RCMP received a report of a missing 15 year old girl.

Shandaya Akachuk was last seen on the Standing Buffalo First Nation near Fort Qu'Appelle, SK. Information leads police to believe she may be in the city of Regina, but investigators have not been able to confirm her well being.

Shandaya Akachuk is described as having short brown hair with blue highlighted tips. She is also known to wear glasses. She was wearing a zip up bunny hug with a blue and white jacket, blue Adidas t-shirt and black ripped jeans.

Break & Enter to Truck-Hanley

Sometime between 10pm Feb. 11th and morning of Feb. 12th, 2020, a single suspect leaving footprints in the snow broke into owner's truck, 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 Plate 648 IYT SK. on the 300 block of GARFIELD Ave, Hanley. Contents from the centre console and glove box were removed and thrown throughout the interior of the truck.

Nipawin Robbery

On January 25th, 2020 an unknown male entered the Abraham’s convenience store in Nipawin with his face covered. The male demanded the worker place cigarettes into his back pack. Before the worker could do anything the male went around the counter and began filling his backpack with cigarettes. He then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The male suspect is described as First Nations, six feet tall, thin build with Brown eyes wearing a White Jacket, dark pants and had a white bandanna covering his face.

Nipawin RCMP are investigating a break and enter to a business in Nipawin. At 2:46 AM February 10th the front window to Domo was smashed and a single person gained entry to the building. A variety of video game counsels, video games and accessories were stolen valuing between $4000.00 and $5000.00. It us unknown if the person was alone or if a vehicle was involved.

Aberdeen Area Mischief/Theft

Saskatoon RCMP is investigation a theft mischief complaint that occurred on February 10, 2020 at approximately 10:00 AM in the Aberdeen area. The vehicle in the photo came onto the property damaged a security camera, stole another security camera and then damaged a grain auger onsite and stole the 50L fuel tank.

Saskatoon RCMP is seeking any information to help identify the people associated to the vehicle.

Yorkton Sask Liquor & Gaming Break & Enter

On January 7th, 2020 at approximately 1:30am two males attempted to break into the Sask Liquor and Gaming Store located at 36 Broadway Street East. The two vehicles the suspects used in the offense were later identified as being stolen.  
One of the accused was apprehended a short time later in Yorkton and charged with various offenses including Break and Enter, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle. 


The suspect seen entering the truck has not yet been identified; the truck has since been recovered.

Fuel Theft- Big River

On September 1, 2019 Big River RCMP received a complaint of fuel theft from the Esso in Big River. A customer had just filled up a jerry can of fuel and placed it on the back of his truck and went inside to pay. When he came out the jerry can was gone. Police attended and reviewed the video footage. On the footage a male wearing a red sweater and a hat can be seen stealing the jerry can. Unfortunately the video footage is not very high quality. The suspect was towing a blue and white boat, his vehicle is not seen in the video. Police are hoping someone recognizes either the suspect or the boat.

Two Break, Enters & Thefts in Outlook

Outlook RCMP are investigating two break and enters that occurred in Outlook on February 4th, 2020 between 2am and 4am.  The suspect first broke into a storage shed behind a gas station in Outlook around 2am by cutting the lock. The suspect left in a newer light coloured Ford F150.

At approximately 3am a tire business also had their storage shed broken into.  The lock was pried off and $15,000 worth of tires and rims were stolen.  The suspect appears to be a heavier set male.

On Monday December 2nd, 2019 between 2:00 and 2:30 in the morning two (2) individuals broke into the 8&49 Service Station located in Pelly, Saskatchewan, The individuals forced entry into the front door by using an unknown object. The individuals stole car parts and a non working cash register.

Subject #1 - Is described to be taller, slim, and wearing a blue jumpsuit, black shoes.

Subject #2 - Is described to be taller, medium build and wearing a blue jumpsuit, blue shoes.

Theft from Lanigan Business

On the evening of January 30th, 2020 a shed located at the a business on Main Street and Highway 5 in Lanigan was broken into. Suspects forced entry and stole a large amount of 1 litre containers of automotive oil. The value of the loss is believed to be around $1000.00. The suspects were driving a unique mini van. The van is light in colour in with the driver’s side sliding door dark in colour.  Photos of the suspect vehicle are attached.

Thefts in RM of Bayne and Lanigan

Humboldt/Lanigan R.C.M.P. is asking for the public’s assistance for information regarding a few incidents of theft in the RM of Bayne and town of Lanigan in January.

Sometime between January 11, 2020 and January 14, 2020, unknown persons entered a shop on a rural property in the RM of Bayne and stole various shop tools valued at $3000.00.

Sometime between January 15, 2020 and the morning of January 19, 2020 a quonset on Highway 670 in Bruno was broken into. The suspects damaged the front door and stole fuel from the property.  

In the early morning hours of January 20, 2020 a theft occurred from a vehicle parked at a business on Highway 16 in Lanigan. The suspects stole over $10 000 worth of bull riding gear. The suspects are believed to have been driving a newer Ford truck with a sunroof at the time of the theft.  

These matters are still under investigation by the Humboldt and Lanigan RCMP detachments.

On January 28, 2020, Blaine Lake RCMP was asked to complete a wellness check on 40-year-old Shaun Woytiuk. The complainant had not seen him in many years. Blaine Lake officers have not been able to locate him and want to confirm his well-being. Shaun may be in the Edmonton or Lloydminster areas, but this is not confirmed.

The description we have for him is:  5’ 11” tall with blue eyes and blonde hair. We do not have a photo available.

The La Ronge RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for Dillon Bruce SEWAP, age 25.

SEWAP is wanted for: Assault; Assault with Weapon X 2; Assault Causing Bodily Harm X 2; Fail to Comply with Undertaking; Fail to Comply; Fail to Appear; Robbery with Weapon; Unauthorized Possession of Weapon; Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose; Unlawfully in Dwelling House; and Forcible Entry.

SEWAP is described as 6’0” tall, 203 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. SEWAP has visible tattoos including a dollar sign under his left eye, number “306” above his right eye, and “Etnies” tattooed on his right hand.

Attempted Break & Enter-Melville

Melville RCMP Detachment are requesting the public's assistance locating two individuals responsible for an attempted break and enter to a cannabis store located on Prince William Drive in Melville, SK, which occurred on January 7, 2020, at approximately 3:40 a.m.

The individuals are both of slim build and were seen wearing backpacks and all black clothing. Police are asking the public to keep their eyes open for this sort of activity and gather as much information from the individuals or vehicle as possible.

Break & Enter to Leoville Grocery


On January 1st, 2020 at approx 5:35am, three suspects with faces covered, broke into the Leoville Grocery Store and stole over $2000 in liquor and lighters. The males used a stolen GMC Sierra, which was stolen several hours prior from a residence nearby, and backed the truck into the main glass doors, knocking the doors down and giving them access to the store. The males were inside the store for approximately 4 minutes before heading southbound from Leoville.

The stolen truck was recovered on January 2nd in Monte Nebo.

On January 13th and 15th, 2020, there was a break, enter and theft to a garage and boat in the town of Clavet. Stolen items: 1/2 inch Hammer Drill, M18 fuel, with  5 amp Battery and charger, Pitt Boss Dual burner portable grill, stainless with boat mount to it, 2 south Bend Black Beauty fishing rods(orange and black) and plano box with hooks. Total tool loss for items $1310.

Street Sign Damaged-Aberdeen

Sometime between January 18th after 1:00pm and midnight January 19th, 2020, a solar powered stop signs was damaged in the town of Aberdeen. The Stop sign is located at intersection of Central Avenue and Thompson Street. There were vehicle ruts in the ditch leading to the stop sign.  Information obtained to date that it was a approximately a 2015 Ford F-150, grey or black in colour and partial plate of 360 SK marker responsible. There was a lot of traffic in the area as there was volleyball tournament and ice hockey going on at the school.

Robbery with Firearm-Pelican Narrows


At approximately 3:30am on December 28, 2019, 2 males and 1 female wearing a scream-like mask with a tongue, came to a residence and demanded cigarettes. They shot the victim on the leg with a sawed off shotgun.

The three supects ran off in three different directions.

All suspects were about 5 feet - 5'6 and wearing all black.

Attempted Armed Robbery - Macklin, Saskatchewan

On January 25th, 2020 just after midnight, a male suspect entered the Macklin Hotel/Bar armed with a long gun and demanded money. The male is described as 5'8', slim build, black clothing and a mask covering his face.

The bar employee was able to get away and lock herself in a back room. No money was obtained by the suspect. It is unknown if the suspect left on foot or in a vehicle at this time. Photos of the Suspect are attached.

On January 19, 2020 between 4:00 am and 5:30 a 1996-2000  grey two door Honda Civic hatchback entered a business yard on Hwy 20 in Middle lake. Two males stole over $5000.00 in copper cable from construction equipment.  The car was travelling north of middle lake on Hwy 20.

Armed Robbery-Canora Hotel

Canora RCMP needs your help to identify this male who committed an armed robbery at approximately 9pm on Christmas Eve at a hotel in Canora.
The male is described as 5' 10" tall with a slim build, and was wearing a green or brown zipper up jacket and black winter boots. The male sat down and played the VLT's for a few minutes before robbing the bartender at knife point.

Between December 23, 2019 and January 3, 2020, a pregnant female bison in an enclosed field North East of Hudson Bay was shot and killed. There were numerous "no hunting signs" on the fence perimeter.

Copper Wire Theft- Lone Rock, Sk.

On January 6th, 2020, at approximately 1:30am, two suspects broke into a fenced oil lease site near Lone Rock, SK. They then cut and removed copper wire. The suspects arrived in a white older model crew cab Chevy truck. One suspect was wearing a pair of blue safety coveralls, the second a grey hoody and dark colored jacket.

Biggar Grocery Store Break & Enter

On December 30th, 2019, the grocery store in Biggar was broken into and a large amount of cigarettes were taken by the suspects. Police are looking for any information on the thefts in Biggar or anyone that may be selling cheap legally packaged cigarettes. Packages, cartons or a mixture of brands.

Theft of Fuel in Watson

The Humboldt/Lanigan RCMP and Crime Stoppers are investigating a theft of fuel that took place at approximately 11:00 pm on January 6th , 2020 in the Town of Watson. An unknown male driving a black early 1990's Oldsmobile 4 door car stole fuel from a parked gravel truck. The male appears to be in his early 20's. It is believed that a female passenger was also in the vehicle. The vehicle was bearing a Saskatchewan license plate “544 IZI” which does not belong to the suspect vehicle. The vehicle was seen in Saskatoon on January 7th.  Photos of the suspect and the vehicle are attached.

Mischief to Church in Jansen

Between December 26 and December 29,  2019, a church in the 200 block of Main Street in Jansen was broken into and vandalized.  A Television was damaged and several articles were left thrown on the floor. RCMP continue to investigate this matter and are seeking public assistance.

Missing- Leslie Agnes Maple

On January 7, 2020 Fort Qu'Appelle RCMP received a request to locate an adult female. Leslie Agnes Maple, 19 years of age, was last seen by her family on December 3, 2019 on the Standing Buffalo First Nation near Fort Qu'appelle, but last communicated using text messages on January 4, 2020. The content of the conversation indicated Leslie was in Regina and police believe she is likely still within the city of Regina. Inquiries by both Regina Police Service and RCMP have not located Leslie.

Police are concerned for Leslie's well being and are asking the public to call police if they have any information on her whereabouts.

Stolen Truck-Spiritwood

On December 3rd, 2019, at roughly 3:30am, a 1998 white Dodge Ram, Sask plate 066 LBL was stolen from a residence in Spiritwood, SK. The truck has a very
distinct front bumper and rear tailgate.

Rural Break & Enter-Martensville Area

On December 7th, 2019 at 2:00 AM culprit(s) entered a garage at land location SW 11-37-6 W3 while the home owners were asleep. One culprit when detected by the home owner, pushed the home owner and ran away. The culprit(s) made off with a pellet gun and a can of tobacco. One suspect was described as a male 5’10” tall weighing about 150 lbs wearing a black mask, black jeans and wearing mechanic style gloves.

Break & Enter with Discharge of Firearm in North Battleford

On December 27, 2019 @ 09:10 pm Battlefords RCMP responded to a complaint of a break and enter at a residence on Dunning Crescent, North Battleford, where the suspects discharged a small calibre firearm inside the residence. No persons at the residence were injured during this incident. The suspects were described as two First Nation males, roughly 5'7"-5'8" and 5'10-5'11" in height. The shorter suspect was seen without a mask by the occupant of the residence and a composite drawing was completed of that suspect.

On January 5, 2020, the Harris Centennial Rink was broken into during the night and early morning hours. The suspect(s) gained entry through the front door. Nothing appeared to be stolen.

On January 6, 2020, the Rink was broken into again. The suspect(s) got in by breaking glass to enter the building. Once inside, the suspect(s) broke into multiple rooms and stole a quantity of liquor and some ice skates.

Numerous Break, Enter, & Thefts-Neudorf Area

Melville RCMP Detachment is requesting the public's assistance locating the person(s) who is responsible for breaking and entering into a residence and five

quonsets outside of Neudorf, Saskatchewan. This vehicle was seen leaving the property on surveillance and is described as a 1990s pickup truck with bald tires,

white doors, a red box, and a blue fender (pictured below). The break and enter occurred between January 5th, 2020 at 5:00pm and January 6th, 2020 at 9:00am in

which a 1997 GMC Sierra was stolen.

Police are asking the public to keep their eyes open for these vehicles and inform police of any pertinent information.

Church Break & Enter-North Battleford

On December 24th, 2019, North Battleford RCMP received a complaint of a break and enter at the Zion Church on 15th Avenue. Entry was gained into the building through the back door between 07:00am to 09:00am on December 24th. There were two laptop computers, $1,000 cash in Canadian currency and roughly $500 worth in Canadian of Mexican pesos.

In the early hours of October 5th 2019 at the Raymore Coop gas bar a male suspect driving a white GMC half ton stole a few thousand dollars worth garden equipment and vehicle fluids. In the early morning hours of December 30th, 2019. Two suspects in a white dodge crew cab broke into three businesses in Lashburn, Maidstone, and then Paynton. The suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, mostly in change, as well as cases of beer, and bottles of liquor.

On December 8th, 2019, North Battleford RCMP responded to a complaint of a break and enter on the 1300 block of 100th Street. The Waskesiu Lake/ Montreal Lake RCMP are requesting the publics assistance in locating the person(s) responsible for the hit and run that occurred on December 22, 2019 between  approximately 12:50 and 1:00 PM on the 969 highway by the bridge before the new sub-division in Montreal Lake.
A male was hit by an unknown motor vehicle while riding his bicycle traveling east on the 969 highway towards the new sub-division. The motor vehicle failed to stop and left the male on the side of the road. The male survived but, sustained serious injuries from the collision.

These two unknown persons involved in this break & enter were caught on CCTV entering a business in the early morning hours in the Hamlet of McCord, SK, Once inside the business, the individuals removed several sets of vehicle tires and batteries. The Ponteix RCMP had received several reports of Break and Enters to businesses within the presiding month.

Unknown persons attends the Ponteix and surrounding Communities entering the business in the early morning hours.

The individual(s) enter the business through an access door to the rear of the building normally prying the door open. Once inside the business, the individual(s) will search for a safe, cash box or register. The individual(s) will scourer the interior of the business to locate a set of keys or combination to the safe or locked items.

The individual(s) have on occasion entered a building with the door unlocked and upon their departure will lock the door to mask their presence.
 
This morning, December 20, 2019, unknown individual(s) attended the Community of Glentworth, SK. These individual(s) entered the Rural Municipally 44 of Waverley/Glentworth building, the Community Arena and the Bowling Alley. The individual(s) responsible for this crime had departed with nearly $3000.00 in cash. No one was injured in this unfortunate incident.

The RCMP is asking that upon your departure from your place of business, please ensure that all entry points are secured.

Rural Break & Enters-McLean/Fort Qu'Appelle Area

Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP are investigating several break and enters to a rural farm location north of Mclean. On June 28, 2019, a trail camera on the farm picked up a
suspicious vehicle entering the property. The car appeared to be a purple four-door car. The car contained a man and a woman. Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP followed up
with a local car dealership and it is believed that the car is a 2000 to 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue. Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP is requesting any assistance in identifying the persons in the photographs.

In the early morning of December 8, 2019, Yorkton RCMP received a complaint that several Canada Post mailboxes on Sunset Drive North in Yorkton had been damaged. At this time it is believed to have been done by a motor vehicle who would have damage to it's front end. It is believed to have happened between 10PM Dec. 7 and 6AM Dec. 8, 2019.

Residential Break and Enter in Humboldt

Humboldt RCMP were dispatched to a residential break, enter and theft on November 17th 2019.

In the early morning hours of November 17, 2019 a residence on 100 block of 11th street in Humboldt was broken into.

A black or dark blue ford explorer with a U- haul trailer attached was seen in that area between 2:00  to 3:00 am, and may be related to this break and enter.
