Parish Church Fire-Cumberland House

On July 1, 2017 at approximately 4:30 p.m., Cumberland House RCMP was alerted to a structure fire at the Parish Hall in this community. Detachment members and Fire Department personnel responded to find the building partially engulfed in flames and smoke. The fire advanced quickly and attempts to extinguish it were unsuccessful. Fire crews redirected their efforts to keep the fire from spreading. The building was a total loss.

 

 

 

Cumberland House RCMP is currently investigating this incident as arson, and are asking any witnesses to call Cumberland House RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
