Theft of Vehicle-Turnor Lake

In the early morning of Sunday, September 3rd, 2017 a red Chevy Cobalt was stolen from an address on Joe Bagg Avenue, Turnor Lake. The vehicle was later located damaged and abandoned in the woods just outside Turnor Lake. The individual responsible left both a black and green checkered fleece jacket (seen below) and a “John Player” cigarette butt on the driver seat. A piece of hose for funneling fuel was located in the trunk and snare wire was located in a jacket pocket.
Turnor Lake RCMP is looking for those individual(s) who are responsible. Both the RCMP and the Birch Narrows Dene Nation want those responsible to be held accountable for their actions.
