Theft of Trailer from RM of Blaine Lake

Blaine Lake RCMP is requesting the publics help in locating a Load flat deck trailer with Saskatchewan plate 035LCZ and VIN 4ZEPS2227E1065718 that was stolen sometime between September 23rd -25th, 2022, from a property in the Blaine Lake RM. The trailer has a ramp in the rear which lifts up as seen in the photos.

Shots Fired at Fishing Lake First Nation

In the early morning of July 23rd, 2022, four individuals were walking near the campground and beach front on Fishing Lake First Nation. A black compact vehicle, possible a Pontiac Vibe, approached the individuals and began shooting at them once stopped. The vehicle left and went into the subdivision of Fishing Lake First Nation before returning to shoot more before leaving. There were four occupants of the vehicle wearing black bandanas with paisley markings on them.

Theft of John Deere 310SJ Backhoe Loader from the RM of Shellbrook

The above John Deere 310SJ Backhoe Loader was stolen from a rural gravel pit owned by the Rural Municipality of Shellbrook on the morning of September 16, 2022. It is believed to be in the Sturgeon Valley area. May have a decal saying “RM of Shellbrook” on the front.

Stolen Troy Built Ride On Lawn Mower-Wadena

On September 1st, 2022, between the hours of 11:00PM and 7:00AM, a red and black Troy Built ride on lawn mower was stolen from the Wadena Coop Hardware Store/Garden Centre.

During the month of August, 2022, there were multiple vehicles that were damaged by having their fuel tanks punctured in the residential neighborhood in Kelliher, Saskatchewan. Copper Theft from North Battleford Residence.

North Battleford RCMP received a report of a theft of copper from a residential housing unit located on 101st Street, North Battleford, where building repair work was being performed.

Theft occurred sometime between August 12,2022 and August 18, 2022.

The copper consisted of copper pipe and fittings used for boiler heating systems.
Approximate value is $2000.00.

Theft of Speed Indicating Sign From the RM of Moose Creek

Between Thursday, July 7th, 2022 and Thursday, July 14, 2022, a radar equipped speed indicating sign belonging to the RM of Moose Creek was stolen from a location Northwest of Glen Ewen on the Manor Grid (Hwy 603). The stolen sign was one component of a traffic safety project initiated by the hardworking staff of the RM of Moose Creek, supported by SGI, and purchased with funds from hardworking and supportive rate payers from the rural municipality.

Late in the day on July 30th, 2022, a group of people pulled up to the Revoys marina at Barrier Lake in a vehicle that was red on top and Grey on the bottom, two males got out and offered children candy. There were two females that stayed in the vehicle.

Theft of Red 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab-Swift Current

Swift Current Municipal RCMP are looking for a stolen red 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 extended cab.  The truck has a lighter shade of red spray painted on both rear wheel wells as well as the top of the tailgate.  The truck’s driver side door handle is also held on with screws.

The truck was stolen from an autobody shop in the North West area of Swift Current late at night between the 21st and 22nd of August 2022.

Break & Enter to Business in Watrous

A break and Enter happened in Watrous in the night of the August 12th, 2022 at about 04:00 a.m. One male suspect was caught in the pump repair store attempting to steal money from a drawer. The owner of the store chased the male suspect outside the building to the back alley then at the corner of the next street before getting into an altercation with him. The male suspect was injured by a weapon that left a gash behind his head. The suspect may be living in the town of Young, in the Watrous area.

A break and enter to a garage in the 300 block of 6th Ave in the town of Broadview occurred during the night between August 11th and 12th.

On July 26th ,2022 at approximately 5:00am an unknown male broke into the Market Tire in Rosthern, Saskatchewan. Video surveillance shows a dark colored single cab pick-up truck with grey primer on the rear passenger side and tail gate. The truck appears to have a black toolbox or fuel tank in the box behind the cab. The male appears to be approximately 5’10” and is wearing a dark colored hoodie, a ball cap and blue jeans.

Break, Enter &Theft at a Residence in Martensville

Martensville RCMP are investigating the Break, Enter and theft from a residence in Martensville. Suspect is believed to have entered the residence from an un unlocked door, but is not clear at this time. The theft occurred while home owners were away from their residence for a couple of hours during the day. The suspects went through a few rooms and stole cash.  The break in occurred on July 12, 2022 between 9:30am-12:30pm.

Sexual Assault-La Ronge

La Ronge RCMP is investigating a report of a sexual assault that occurred late in the evening on June 25, 2022 on La Ronge Avenue in La Ronge.

Investigation determined a teenage girl was approached by a male in a vehicle. The girl was forced into the vehicle and assaulted.

La Ronge RCMP have been investigating this incident since it was reported and a Saskatchewan RCMP sketch artist has created a composite sketch of the suspect. Investigators are now releasing it to the public for assistance in identifying him.

The suspect is described as potentially in his 40s or 50s, and tall with a slim build. He has brown eyes and brown, possibly greying, hair that is receding. He is described as having a beard and sunken cheeks, possibly caused by acne scarring.

He was driving a two-door red car with a black leather interior and a broken rear window.

Theft of Credit Card- Melville

On April 30, 2022, Melville RCMP received reports of a break and enter at the RM of Cana Building in Melville. Two credit cards were stolen and later used in Lemberg on April 29, 2022.

The suspect covered everything with the only identifying factor being a black Nike hoodie.

On July 6th the Wadena RCMP received a complaint of a stolen red/white lawnmower from a shed on the southwest side of Wadena.

Over the past month the town of Wadena has seen a notable increase in theft and property crime in town.

On July 12th 2022, between the hours of 1:00am and 2:00am, a Drone and Macbook Pro laptop were stolen from the NBI Pipestone Feedyard near Grenfell. It appears the suspects  were driving a late 2000's Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Sometime between Tuesday, July 12th and Wednesday morning of July 13th, 2022 two Semi tractor trailers were broken into ( Coco Cola trailers) at Shine Industrial Park (south end).  Property is registered to Precision Projects LTD. 

The following were stolen from the surrounding property and two semi trailers:  Bobcat concrete breaker, weststeel road vault fuel tank and pump, 2x power generations(semi’s).

Assist to Identify-Sexual Assault

Southey RCMP continue to actively investigate a report of a sexual assault of a preteen child in Goven, SK on June 9, 2022. Background is available here: https://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/en/ news/2022/southey-rcmp- investigating-sexual-assault.

 

To further this ongoing investigation, Southey RCMP are now releasing a composite sketch, prepared by a Saskatchewan RCMP sketch artist, of the male suspect involved. The sketch is attached.

 

“We’re asking the public to take a look at this drawing. Does he look like someone you know, or have you seen him somewhere?” says Southey RCMP Sgt. Kim Stewart. “If you have, please report what you know. It may be the bit of information we need to further this investigation.”

 

The suspect is described as between 28 and 30 years old, between 5’7” and 5’10” tall, of medium build, with dark hair, brown eyes and dark, bushy eyebrows. He is also described as having yellowed teeth.

 

He was driving a black truck when he approached the victim before assaulting her.

On or about May 29th 2022, there was a break and enter at a mobile home residence in the RM of Grant, The suspects broke into the mobile home and stole a 55 inch LED tv and stereo. They also tried to steal a grey Chevrolet ½ ton. They managed to get it a mile down the road before abandoning it. The truck has since recovered, damaged.

The suspects also tried to steal a backhoe and a a bus on the property.

Break, Enters, & Thefts-RM of Grant

Between June 11 and June 15 2022, and again between July 1 and 4 2022, there Break and Enters and thefts at a rural location in the RM of Grant. Among the items stolen were a 1997 Flat deck trailer, a Red 2022 Polaris Ranger UTV (4500 Winch and brushguard on the front), a green 2006 Yamaha Kodiak ATV, and red 2005 Honda TRX 350 ATV. Two brush cutters(STIHL and Echo), a DR Power Brush Mower, Backpack sprayers, backpack firefighting equipment as well as as safety equipment such as harnesses, helmets and safety chaps and spraying equipment.  

 

At the second break and enter another Red Honda ATV was stolen as well as multiple jugs of herbicide and some solar panels.

ATV Trailer Theft-Hudson Bay

On July 3, 2022 the Hudson Bay RCMP received a report of a stolen 2008 H&H two place ATV trailer black in colour. The trailer was stolen from a residence on the 600 block of Prince Street in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan. The theft occurred sometime between January 2022 and July 1, 2022.

SaskTel Equipment Stolen-North Battleford

Sometime between June 17, 2022 to June 21, 2022 four Sasktel Fibre Optic Power meters were taken from a Sasktel truck. The truck was in North Battleford, parked at a local business during that time.

Bicycle Theft-Wadena

Between the night of June 30th, 2022 and morning July 1st, 2022, a black and silver bicycle was stolen from a garage in Wadena. Attached is a photo of the same make and model of the bicycle.

Theft of Ride-on Mower-Duck Lake

On or between, June 26 to June 28, 2022 the Rosthern RCMP received a complaint of Theft from, Mounted Police Museum in Duck Lake. Stolen was a Husqvarna M-ZT52 ride on lawnmower with serial number, 061818B005725. Photos attached is not the stolen mower, but the make and model.

Theft of Tools-Moosomin FN

Police responded to a Break and Enter to the new school job site on Moosomin First Nation where a work Trailer was broken into and numerous Milwaukee and Makita tools were stolen. The tools are very distinct in colour with white spray paint on them with company serial numbers starting with VCM- *****-***.

Two Arsons in Rose Valley

The Greenwater RCMP are looking for any information that can help identify the suspect(s) of two arsons that occurred on the morning of March 29th, 2022 in the town of Rose Valley. At approximately 05:30hrs Rose Valley Fire Department responded to two separate fires, both abandoned structures. One of the structures was an abandoned grocery store, while the other was an abandoned residence. Both structures were fully engulfed in flames when Fire Fighters arrived. No injuries or loss of life reported.

Theft of Hockey Memorabilia

 

On April 3, 2022 Ahtahkakoop RCMP received a report of a theft. Items were reported stolen sometime between November 2021 and March 2022 from a rural yard where they were being temporarily stored and include a large collection of hockey memorabilia. 

 

We ask memorabilia collectors to please read the list of items reported stolen below. If you purchased Wayne Gretzky memorabilia via an online “buy and sell” site since as early as November 2021 and the transaction is believed to have been suspicious in nature, please report it to police. We also want pawn and second hand stores to be aware of this theft. Please report any suspicious activity to police.

 

Some of the items reported stolen include:

 

·       19 Wayne Gretzky jerseys, autographed

·       large Wayne Gretzky pictures and large painting, all autographed

·       autographed sticks

·       autographed pucks all in display cases

Stolen Tow Truck-Foam Lake

On the night of March 19th at 3:50am, a tow truck was stolen from the property of OK Tire in Foam Lake.

The La Vista motel in Foam Lake is directly across from OK Tire. There was also a hockey tournament taking place in Foam Lake this weekend.

Wire Theft-Delisle

 

On March 12, 2022, Warman RCMP were contact after a passerby noticed a seacan had been broken into on Elevator Road in Delisle. Large spools of wire had been moved and cut. Electrical cable and small electrical motors were taken. The site is directly south of the Town of Delisle on Elevator Road.

Theft of Enclosed Trailer-Broadview

Broadview RCMP are investigating a theft of an enclosed 2004 trailer that has licence plate of 746LBZ and VIN - 10WCV22214W038637. The trailer went missing between 5:30pm and 7:00am the night of December 14.

It's a white 7x20 v nose drive thru trailer. It has 3 distinguishing features. Cosmetic damage on the chrome nose cap with a tear through the metal at tailgate height. The trailer wiring has been redone running conduit inside. The back door ramp frame on the roof has been modified and a piece of angle iron has been installed to seal the door.

Inside the trailer was 2 1000L fresh water plastic totes that were empty and various hoses and fittings to connect the tanks to equipment.

Fatal Hit & Run of Tyrell Longman

In the early morning of July 22, 2021, Tyrell Longman was found deceased on a grid road north of Gordon's First Nation. He was last seen alive around 3:50 a.m. on July 22, when he walked through the Security Check Point at the North entrance of Gordon First Nation.

He was fatally hit by a vehicle where he succumbed to his injuries.

RCMP are looking for any information regarding the fatal hit and run on Tyrell Longman.

In between July 12th, 2021 at 7:00 am and July 14th, 2021 at 7pm, a vacant shop located north of Lloydminster, SK, was broken into. Suspect(s) stole a red 1999 Arctic Cat Series 400 ATV from the shop.

Theft of Civic Signs from Paynton

Theft of Civic Signs from Paynton - Maidstone RCMP

Over the past three months, there has been a theft of Civic Signs in Paynton area. Over a dozen signs had been stolen, and suspect(s) had been intentionally stealing signs by cutting off the post or unscrewing bolts.

These signs are property of the R.M. of Paynton No.470.

Break and Enter RM of Maryfeild Shop


Sometime during the night of February 23rd the Rural Municipality of Maryfield shop located at 999 Main Street, Maryfield was broken into. Approximately $2000 worth of tools were stolen including a Milwaukee 3/4 inch impact, Milwaukee 1/2 impact, Milwaukee cordless angle grinder, Milwaukee cordless 1/4 grinder, Milwaukee cordless reciprocating saw, Milwaukee 1/2 inch cordless drill, and a Lincoln 175 wire feed welder. The male suspect appears to be wearing a white or light colored jacket and appeared to be driving a dark colored 1/2 ton Chevrolet short box truck.

Break, Enter & Thefts to SaskPower Facilities-Southern Saskatchewan

The Weyburn RCMP are asking for assistance from the public for information regarding a number of thefts from SaskPower facilities in the past few weeks.


Two SaskPower substations in the Halbrite area reported heavy ground cables were stolen.


Not only is this incredibly dangerous, it could also cause power outages to large areas in Saskatchewan.


The Weyburn RCMP would like to ask that if anyone sees people or vehicles at any SaskPower substations in the evening/overnight hours, that do not appear to belong there, to contact the RCMP.
