A complaint was received by the Prince Albert RCMP on November 5, 2017 regarding a mischief to a number of Canada Post mail boxes in the RM of Paddockwood near Beaton, SK. The boxes were tipped over and locks on the lockboxes were cut from the mail boxes.

Sometime between November 11th and 12th, 2017, a black Dodge van was damaged while parked on 1st Avenue East in Ponteix. The vehicle sustained damage to the passenger side door.

On Tuesday, February 21st, 2017 between 2:00 am and 5:00 am in the morning, four individuals broke into the Keeseekoose First Nation store located near Kamsack on the Keeseekoose First Nation Reserve. The individuals caused damage to the ATM and made off with an undisclosed amount of money and store goods.

Subject #1 - Is decribed to be wearing a blue parka, khaki pants and a red baseball cap.

Subect #2 - Is described as wearing a grey hoodie with blue jeans and a red/gold baseball cap.

Subject #3 - Is described as wearing a grey overcoat with jeans.

Subject #4 - Is descibed as wearing a red hoodie, black pants and a dark colored ballcap.

Assist to Identify- Break & Enter to a business on the Wahpeton First Nation

A complaint was received by the Prince Albert RCMP on November 8th, 2017 regarding a break and enter to a residence in the Buckland RM and of a break and enter to a business on the Wahpeton First Nation. Police are looking for assistance in identifying suspects in regards to these investigations. Police have received a photo of one of the four suspects. Stolen from the residence was a bright orange hunting backpack.

Hit & Run-Battleford, Sk.

On the morning of October 20th, 2017, around 5:52 hrs a hit and run occurred on highway 4 south near 10th Street, in Battleford, Saskatchewan. A dark grey DODGE CHARGER rear-ended a vehicle that had pulled over to the edge of the road. The CHARGER then left the scene of the accident without stopping.

Credit Card Theft-North Battleford

A theft occurred at a business on 102nd Street in NORTH BATTLEFORD, SK on May 9th, 2017. A wallet was taken from the business and reported stolen to police. RCMP requests the public’s assistance in identifying the female in the video footage still.

Disco Ball Theft

Sometime during the evening of November 11th , 2017, suspects jumped over a fence of a property in the 100 block of 17th Street in Battleford, Saskatchewan and stole five big disco balls from the yard.

Theft of Oilfield Equipment – Winter, Saskatchewan

Sometime Between November 5th, and November 11th 2017, a high value piece of oilfield equipment known as a blow-out preventer was stolen from a Cona Resources well site in Winter, Saskatchewan. The equipment belongs to Cru Well Servicing and is valued at over $45,000.00. The equipment is very heavy and large and would have required the use of a trailer and picker truck to remove it from the site. There are no suspects at this time and the Unity RCMP are seeking assistance in identifying a suspect. Break, Enter & Theft from Pinehouse Lake Residence.

Pinehouse RCMP are requesting the assistance of the public in solving two separate residential break, enter and thefts from the same residence. Each incident happened at the residence of an elementary school teacher located on what is known as Teacher Street.

On September 14, 2017, in the early morning hours the teacher awoke to find that the back door was forced open, kitchen light was on and the fridge door was left ajar. After checking her belongings it was discovered that the culprit(s) had stolen a silver Apple Macbook laptop and her black jacket.

Between October 6, 2017 and October 18, 2017, the teacher was away from Pinehouse. A family friend checked on the house and it was discovered that the residence was broken into again. During this offence much more was stolen: A Keurig coffee maker, a Samsung television, a black x-box 360, an acoustic guitar with a hand painted Canadian flag on the pick guard, a guitar case that has "Uncle Mike's" and "Ontario Pioneer Camps" stickers on it, a violin belonging to the school, a burgundy and green Scentsy warmer with a plug, a red Columbia 2xl hooded outer shell for a jacket and four boxes of Partylite tea lights, one of which was holiday spice scent.

Theft of Slip Tank-near Guernsey, Sk.

Lanigan R.C.M.P. is asking for the public's assistance for information regarding an incident of Theft near Guernsey.  Sometime between October 1, 2017 and October 8, 2017, an "L" shaped, 100 gallon custom made slip tank was stolen, The tank had a red manuel pump, a Co-op lockable fuel cap and two hooks on top of the tank. Theft of Construction Dryer

Between the dates of November 4th and 5th, 2017, someone stole a 2017 350 FROST FIGHTER Construction Dryer from a farm near the village of Marcelin. The construction dryer was grey and red with two red heater tubes mounted on rubber wheels.

Mischiefs in the Assiniboia area

The Assiniboia RCMP requests the public's assistance in locating the person(s) responsible for mischiefs that occurred in the RM of Old Post sometime between 11:00pm, October 22nd and 5:00am, October 23rd, 2017. The person(s) responsible removed signs along several grid roads and left them in piles at the end of the Canopus Grid as well as by the RM shop in Wood Mountain.

On October 12th, 2017, at approximately 0030 hrs. two males broke into the Craik Coop lumberyard and appear to have been looking for fuel. The video of the suspects is not clear enough to identify facial features, but one male was wearing a sweat shirt with the #34 on the back. Also the same night, the neighbouring business, McRae Farm Service was broken into and a large amount of cash was taken, and a door and window were damaged.

Cow Shooting

Sometime between October 14th and October 21st, 2017, a black angus cow was shot and killed in a pasture east of the wildlife lands near Saskatoon Trail in Battleford district, Saskatchewan.  Suspects shot the cow three times in the head.  It is believed the first shot would have put the cow to the ground and one bullet hole is at point blank range.

GRAIN DUMPED ON ROADS IN RM OF ARBORFIELD, SASK


Between August 30th and September 30th, 2017, a suspect driving a grain truck unloaded spoiled canola, onto grid roads, in the Rural Municipality of Arborfield, near Arborfield, Saskatchewan. The dumped grain has caused illness to some livestock and one vehicle collision with $2600 damage to the vehicle.

Theft-Sandy Lake campground in Prince Albert National Park

At Sandy Lake campground, in Prince Albert National Park
A Power Inverter has been stolen, a Red - Case Agriculture BC20001 - 2000 Watts Inverter.

2 Males were observed driving around the campground in a dark Grey Blue truck, that were not seen in the campground before nor after the theft of the inverter.

The owners of the Inverter were sleeping at the time the Inverter was taken, while plugged to their camping equipment.

Humboldt RCMP are investigating a number of related break, enter and thefts from several businesses in St. Gregor and Muenster. Suspects forced their way into these businesses and made off with a variety of stolen goods. These thefts occurred in the early morning hours of October 26th 2017, and it is believed a white Dodge pickup truck was used in the commission of these offences.

Assist to Identify-Suspect that shot at police- morning of October 27, 2017

Please see attached a composite sketch of the male who exited the black Cadillac during the initial incident by Osler early Friday morning. He is described as a six foot tall black male with a slim build and high cheekbones.

The black Cadillac CTS has not been located. RCMP Major Crime Unit North continues to investigate with the assistance of Rosthern RCMP, RCMP General Investigation Section and Forensic Identification Section and Saskatoon Police Service.

Investigators wish to speak with any members of the public who were traveling on Highway #11 (both directions) between Rosthern and Saskatoon on October 27 between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. and have information relating to the below investigation (perhaps saw the black Cadillac CTS on the side of the road or passed it). The vehicle has not been located.

BACKGROUND:

2017-10-27

Saskatchewan RCMP is requesting the public's assistance in locating the suspect(s) and/or the suspect vehicle involved in this incident. Public safety is our number one priority and the individual(s) inside the black Cadillac CTS are armed and considered dangerous. This vehicle has not been located. Although the vehicle fled towards Saskatoon, it is not known if it is in Saskatoon at this time. Do not approach any vehicles matching this description or its occupant(s). Please report any vehicles matching this description to police immediately: call 911 in an emergency or call your police service of jurisdiction.

Follow up to our previous release: Initial investigation is that a thin, black male exited the car and then the RCMP member was shot at. The individual got back inside and the vehicle fled towards Saskatoon.

This investigation is ongoing; these are the details we have available at this time.

 

2017-10-27

Shortly before 4:00 a.m. October 27, a Rosthern Detachment member noted a black car pulled over on the side of Highway #11 near Osler, SK with no lights on. The member pulled their vehicle over and activated their emergency equipment. The RCMP member was shot at. This resulted in the member discharging their firearm and the car fled towards Saskatoon on Highway #11. The member was not injured.

A short pursuit began and Saskatoon Police Service was notified. The vehicle has not been located yet and we continue to work with Saskatoon Police Service in this investigation.  

The car is described as a black Cadillac CTS with no license plate.

The one occupant that was observed is described as a thin, black male. No further descriptions are available at this time.

The public should not approach vehicles matching the description above and report any information they have to police immediately. The public may note an increased police presence on Highway #11 while further investigation takes place.

Theft- Waskesiu Lake

On August 29th, 2017 at 2:06 p.m., Waskesiu Lake RCMP received a complaint of a theft from a business at Waskesiu Lake. A significant amount of cash was reported missing (in the thousands of dollars).

The suspect has been described as a Caucasian male, late 40's or early 50's years old, 6 feet tall, 160-180 pounds, lean build, clean shaven. See attached photo for further details.

The suspect was wearing a baseball cap, light coloured polo shirt and light coloured shorts.

The individual left the area in a white Dodge Caravan with an unknown Alberta license plate.

Cabin Break & Enters-Waskesiu Lake

On October 23rd, 2017 at approximately 1:45 AM there were numerous break and enters to cabins in the Waskesiu Lake area. The cabins were entered using force by prying open the doors and sliding doors, some of the doors had been kicked as well.

All of the cabins had the drawers and cabinets gone through and were extensively searched. Some of the cabins had electronics such as televisions taken along with linens and comforters.

There was security footage obtained through the investigation of five (5) individuals, all were wearing hooded jackets, face coverings and gloves. One (1) of the individuals had a reflective strip going across the back of their jacket.

Duck Lake Break & Enters


Between September 30th to October 3rd 2017, several businesses in Duck Lake, SK, were broken into.

On October 2nd it was reported that the workshop at Belles Pulses was broken into and an estimated value of $5000 of various tools were stolen.

The same day Lanovaz Construction reported that someone had broke into a storage building, and a C-Can. The only missing item was a set of tires.

The night of October 2nd a suspect broke in to the R.M. office of Duck Lake and stole the R.M. pick up truck. The vehicle was pursued by a worker from the R.M. office but got away. The vehicle was recovered in a slough near Borden, SK.

On October 3rd A&M water service which is beside the Duck Lake R.M. Office reported a break in. Nothing was reported missing, however buildings, and storage sheds were rummaged through.

There is video surveillance available which identifies 2 suspect vehicles that are involved. One vehicle is a newer model Dodge Caravan, grey in colour. The second vehicle is a earlier 2000's model Dodge pickup truck. The pick up is white in colour and has a chrome push bar, and chrome box rails.

It is believed that same suspects are involved with all of the break and enters.

Assist to Identify-Shellbrook Break & Enter

On October 24th, 2017 at 4:15 A.M., a business on Main Street in Shellbrook, SK was broken into and items were stolen including a laptop and prescription drugs. Suspects gained entry by damaging the front door of the business. Prince Albert RCMP Forensic Identification Services is assisting with the investigation.

Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for this crime. Surveillance video images of three suspects, who are believed to be one male and two females have been collected. It is believed to be the same suspects who attempted to break into a business in Leask, SK in the early morning hours of the same date.

The Greenwater RCMP and Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance from the public in solving the following crime which occurred between October 17th 2017 and October 18th 2017. During this time, unknown person(s) attended and stole three John Deere tractors at a local business located on Highway #38 in Kelvington, Saskatchewan.

Assist to Identify-Theft from Leoville Car Wash

Spiritwood RCMP and Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers are seeking the assistance of the public in the following theft from the Leoville Car Wash.

Sometime between the evening of Thursday, August 3rd and the early morning of Friday, August 4th,2017; 3 individuals were seen breaking into the cash box and leaving with approximately $450.00 in change.

Stolen Tandem Axle Trailer-Bjorkdale, Sk.

During the weekend of October 14th to October 17th 2017, a tandem axle trailer was stolen from a property in Bjorkdale. The stolen trailer is described as a 16' tandem axle trailer, black in colour, having a wooden deck with removable sides and custom fenders. The stolen trailer is valued at approximately $3500.

On Thursday, October 19th ,2017 at 02:45 AM, Weyburn RCMP responded to an alarm at a business on Main Street in Midale, SK.  It was subsequently confirmed that this business had been broken into and a theft had occurred.

Assist to Identify-Counterfeit Money

Weyburn RCMP are seeking assistance in identifying the above individuals. The two individuals in question are the male in the green Packers shirt and the male in the white Tapout shirt. They are suspected of distributing counterfeit $100 bills.

Pharmacy Break & Enters

Unity RCMP and the Luseland Police Service are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the individuals in the attached surveillance images.

On the 24th of September 2017 at approximately 4:00 am RCMP were called to an alarm at a pharmacy ,in the town of Unity, Saskatchewan. RCMP discovered that entry had gained access to the building and attempted to access the pharmacy's drugs. The suspects caused damage to the building, but were unsuccessful in accessing the drugs. Video surveillance captured images of a male and a female suspects in this Break and Enter.

Later on September 24th, a female matching the description of the female from Unity's Break and Enter was caught on camera stealing items from a local business in Luseland, Saskatchewan.

At approximately 4:00 am on September 25th, two suspects gained access to the Luseland Pharmacy and stole an undisclosed amount of cash as well as drugs. The suspects in the Luseland Pharmacy Break and Enter matched the description of those in the Unity Pharmacy Break and Enter.

Assist to Identify-Warman Truck Theft

Warman RCMP are requesting assistance to identify this individual regarding a theft of a 2014 GMC Sierra from the Warman Subway on October 5 around 0930hrs. A First Nations female described as approx 5'4" tall, 110lbs, short hair, 25-30 years old wearing a grey hat, black leather jacket and a multi coloured backpack entered the restaurant then stole the truck shortly after. The truck was located abandoned in Rosthern on October 9.

Truck Mischief-Leask, Sk.

Between the dates of October 11th and October 15th, 2017, someone burned the inside of a brown Chevy truck in Leask, Sk. It appears that someone had tried to steal the vehicle but was not able to get the vehicle running and decided to set the front seat on fire.

Suspicious Activity-Lumsden

Lumsden RCMP is requesting the assistance of the public in identifying any suspicious activity related to an incident that occurred on Thursday, October 5, 2017 between 09:30 p.m. and Friday, October 6, 2017 at 05:00 a.m. at an acreage within the Town of Lumsden.

Assault-Assist to Identify

Battleford RCMP are investigating a reported assault which occurred on the 1900 block of 101st Street at approximately 630 pm on the evening of Wednesday October 4th, 2017.  The female victim reports being followed by a male suspect while walking down the sidewalk.  At one point the suspect is reported to have walked up to the victim and body checked her with his shoulder before slapping/grabbing at her buttocks.  The male then laughed left the area on foot.  The victim was not injured.
 
The suspect is described as being a First Nations male, 14-15 years of age, wearing a hoodie, white shoes, diamond earings and a flat brim hat with a grey and/or white brim.  The suspect had earlier been seen the area of the 1900 block of 104th Street in the company of three other males.  These male left in an older maroon coloured truck with noticeable rust and a cab in the back which had wave patterns on the side.  These males were yelling at the victim as they drove away but otherwise did not interact with her.

Break, Enter and Theft – Kelvington, SK

   

Greenwater RCMP and Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance from the public in solving the following crime which occurred between September 29, 2017 and September 30, 2017. During this time, unknown person(s) attended broke into and entered a building in the 100 block of Hillside Drive in Kelvington, Saskatchewan. A bicycle was stolen and later recovered by the RCMP.

Watson, Sk. Armed Robbery

Further to this investigation: as the suspect's mask came loose at one point during the incident, Lanigan RCMP are releasing a composite image of the suspect in an effort to have the public assist in identifying him.

At approximately 12:20 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28 2017, Humboldt RCMP with assistance from Lanigan RCMP responded to a reported armed robbery at a business in Watson, SK.

An employee and a bystander had been sprayed with bear-mace by a lone suspect who went on to take property, including a purse containing an undisclosed amount of cash as well as debit and credit cards. The suspect then fled the scene, however no vehicle or direction of travel was observed.

The two people who were bear-sprayed were treated at the scene by local EMS and released.

Humboldt RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. He is described as:

- An adult, Caucasian male
- 5 ft. 9 or 10 inches tall
- Brown hair
- Wearing a white t-shirt, dark hoodie and a mask over his face

North Battleford Robbery

On September 22, 2017 at 09:50 p.m. Battleford’s RCMP responded to a complaint of a robbery at a local business on 100 St. in North Battleford.

Unknown individuals entered the business and confronted an employee. The suspects were armed with bear spray. No injuries were sustained. Suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.  Suspect 1 is described as a male, in a grey hoody, black jacket, and a red bandana. Suspect 2 is described as female with a grey jacket and white pants with black dots The matter is still under investigation. The  Battlefords RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the two suspects.

Assist to Identify-Armed Robbery

On September 20, 2017, Battlefords RCMP responded to a complaint of an armed robbery at a local business in North Battleford.

Two unknown individuals entered the business and confronted an employee. The suspects were armed with an axe and bear mace. No injuries were sustained. Suspects fled after stealing multiple packages of cigarettes. Suspect 1 is described as a slender male, approximately 13-18 yrs of age, approximately 5'6" in height, wearing grey and purple hoodie, dark hat, bandana and multiple patterned backpack. Suspect 2 is described as a small male, 12-18 yrs of age, approximately 5'0'' in height and wearing a baggy purple hoodie and bandana.

Outlook RCMP are investigating a theft that occurred at AG Foods Store in Outlook, Sk. on August 21st 2017. Two older males entered the store around 7pm. Warman RCMP are seeking assistance in identifying the male in the photo's. During the morning of September 14th, 2017, a number of vehicles had been rummaged through in Warman resulting in a wallet with Credit Cards and Debit cards being taken. Vandalism to Canada Post Office - Unity, Sk.

Sometime overnight between September 10th and September 11th 2017, several mailboxes in the Canada Post Office in Unity were pried open. Various mail items were torn open and it is unknown if other items were taken. On August 17th 2017, it was reported that several parcel items had been taken from the after hours parcel boxes. Suspects were gaining access to the boxes and removing the parcels. As a result of these incidents, the Unity Post office has had to lock their doors to the public after hours to prevent further thefts. The RCMP would like to urge anyone with information on these or other incidents to contact the local detachment. There are no suspects at this time.

Attempt to Lure Child

On Wednesday September 13, 2017 Battleford’s RCMP responded to a complaint of a suspicious person attempting to lure a child into his vehicle.  The incident occurred on 92 St. in North Battleford at approximately 3:45 p.m.

An 11-year-old child was approached by an adult male who attempted to lure the child into his vehicle by offering him a ride home.   The child refused and the adult male continued to ask questions including where the child lived and what his phone number was.  The child got scared and ran home.

The adult male was reportedly driving a white van.

The adult male is described as; Caucasian in his late 30s to early 40s with brown hair, a moustache and wearing a red hat, grey pants and black shoes.

Battleford’s RCMP have completed a Composite Picture of the adult male (see attached) and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the man. RCMP ask the public that if they do think they recognize the man or have any information in regards to who he may be to please call the police immediately and not approach him directly.

Hit & Run-Battleford

Battleford RCMP are investigating a reported hit and run which occurred in the back alley on the 1100 block between 101st And 100th Street on the morning of September 6th, 2017.  Surveillance footage in the area shows a suburban striking a parked car with significant force causing damage to the passenger side.  The suburban stops briefly before fleeing the scene.  A male parked in another vehicle in the lot appears to have attempted to approach the driver after the collision, and police would also like for this person to come forward with any information they may have.  There are two attached videos of the suspect vehicle and the collision attached to this release.

Firearm Theft

On August 31st 2017, a house in Valparaiso was broke into between 1:00 p.m and 4:30 p.m. During the break in, a number of firearms and ammunition were stolen from the residence. The stolen firearms included an assortment of rifles and shotguns. It is believed that 2 adult males are responsible for this offence and that they could be driving a darker grey or black dodge truck with paint missing on the hood.

Break & Enter-North of Onion Lake

Onion Lake RCMP is asking the public for their assistance for the following break, enter and theft: Between August 27th and August 28th, 2017, an oil lease site North of Onion Lake, SK was broken into. The suspect(s) stole several tools and damaged several items on the site. The investigation is still on going.

Attempted Child Luring-La Ronge

On Wednesday September 6, 2017 at approximately 4:00 p.m. La Ronge RCMP responded to a complaint of a 10-year-old child being approached by an adult male who attempted to lure the child into his vehicle using threats. The child ran away and the man drove off. The incident occurred on Studer St.

The adult male was reportedly driving an older-model, light-blue, Ford half-ton truck with rust around the wheels and possibly a broken passenger side window with tape and plastic over it. The truck had an Alberta license plate.

The adult male is described as; Aboriginal, in his 30s, dark hair with a short buzz cut, dark eyes, wearing a black “muscle shirt”, black shorts, sunglasses on his head and running shoes. He is described as having a number of tattoos including a tear-drop on his left eye and a skull on his left arm.

La Ronge RCMP are actively investigating and have increased patrols at key times when children are active in the community. Investigators are also asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the man or providing any information regarding suspicious activity in the area at that time.

 

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who might have video surveillance or cell phone images at or about that time is asked to immediately call the La Ronge detachment at 306-425-6730 or 310-RCMP.

As police conduct their investigation, parents are encouraged to speak with their children and review safety precautions, including:

-        Be aware of surroundings and note suspicious people or vehicles and report them promptly to teachers, parents or other trusted adults

-        Listen to earbuds through one ear only, so you can hear traffic, people, dogs or any other potential hazards

-        Do not approach a vehicle if you don’t know the person inside

-        Do not talk to strangers

-        Have a friend walk with you if possible

-        Stick to sidewalks along busy streets as opposed to cutting through alleys or parks
