Two Arsons in the RM of Caron

Moose Jaw RCMP is requesting the publics assistance in relation to two suspicious fires that both occurred on May 4th. RCMP and the fire department were first called to a rural property in the RM of Caron. Personal property was damaged and the fire appears to have been set intentionally.

Several hours later, the RCMP and fire department were called to the community of Caron for a second fire. Personal vehicles were damaged and the fire appears to be set intentionally.

Theft of 43ft- 5th Wheel Travel Trailer

Theft of 5th Wheel Travel Trailer 

The RCMP along with their Policing partners are investigating the Theft of a black/gray 43 Foot Voltage Toyhauler. The travel trailer is very large, 3 axles with large slides.
A minimum of a 3/4 tonne truck would be required to move this item.

Stolen Tires From Canadian Armed Forces

On April 12th, 2021 the Canadian Armed Forces rolled one of their transport trucks on Highway #1 at Summerberry due to a snowstorm. In order to get the vehicle towed they had to unload the contents they were hauling which were 7 large tires and leave them on the side of Highway # 1. When they returned to pick up the tires on April 15th, only 1 tire remained. The 6 stolen tires are Michelin XML size 395/85/R20. The interior rim is green and the tires are for a light armoured vehicle. On the outside of the rim there should be a stamp bearing NSN 2530-20-007-1475.

In the early morning hours on April 18th, 2021, the Axxis Motor Sports had been broken into.  The property is located just off Hwy 11 south of Saskatoon.  Two new ATV’s were stolen totalling almost $24000.  The culprit(s) were driving a pick-up truck pulling a enclosed cargo trailer.

Theft from Vehicle-Yorkton

Sometime between 12:00am and 10:00am the next morning on April 25, 2021, in the 200 block of Broadway Street East of Yorkton a truck was broken into.  Approximately $2,000-$3,000 worth of items and tools were stolen.

Break and Enter to Farm in the RM of Mcleod

Break and Enter – RM of Mcleod Saskatchewan
 
On November 29th, 2020, the Melville RCMP received a complaint of a Break and Enter, and theft at a Poultry farm in the RM of McLeod.

On this day, the property owner was alerted to people on his property. The owner was able to check his camera system and see an unknown vehicle and a suspect walking around the farm. The owner confronted the suspects and they fled in a grey Ford Expedition, heading eastbound on Highway 10 towards Melville.

The first suspect (the driver) is described as a First Nation female, approx. 35 years old with blonde hair. She was described as heavy set. The second suspect is described as a First Nation male, approx. 40 years old, about 5’4”, with a goatee.

The vehicle they fled in was described as possibly being a Ford Expedition or Excursion, grey in color with damage to the right rear tail light.

The suspects also stole a home made laser level encased in a rifle stock, an air compressor and a welding mask.

The RCMP are requesting the public report any suspicious person or vehicles they observe as well as any occurrences where someone has come onto their property.  We would like to remind the public to lock their vehicles and buildings when they are away from home.

Farm Equipment Stolen From the RM of Vanscoy

Warman RCMP and Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance from the public in solving the following crime which occurred On February 26th between 10pm and 7:30 am the following morning. Unknown person(s) entered property at G3 Canada Limited in the Rural Municipality of Vanscoy where property was stolen. Unknown person(s) stole a 2017 New Holland BOOMER50 D, 2017 New Holland 250TLA Loader Attachment, 2018 Allied YC7420‐4 Snow Blower Attachment, and 2017 New Holland EX72BM Attachment. All items are seen in the attached photos.

Vandalism at Kinsmen Park in York Lake

On April 18, 2021, Unknown suspect(s) vandalized the buildings at Kinsmen Park at York Lake near Yorkton. The suspects spray painted numerous buildings with a brightly coloured spray paint, causing extensive damage.

Stolen 2015 Yamaha Grizzly from North Battleford

Sometime between the late hours of April 18, 2021 and morning of April 20, 2021, a 2015 Yamaha Grizzly 700 EPS SE (VIN 5Y4AM58W3FA301967) was stolen from a North Battleford residence. The ATV had a yellow 48”snow blade attached, a Kolphin gun bracket and a black upseat quad box.

Stolen 2006 Black Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD

On April 26th, 2021, at approx. 1:35 P.M. the Wakaw RCMP was alerted to a stolen vehicle near One Arrow First Nation off of Highway 225.  The stolen vehicle has a SK License Plate of 536 BWL.  It is a 2006 black Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD.  It has a slip tank in the tailgate.

Theft of Quad-RM Of Frenchman Butte


On Monday April 26th, 2021, Turtleford RCMP was advised of a theft of Quad from a rural residence in the RM Of Frenchman Butte. The quad was taken from a shed on the property. Described as a 2013 Honda Rubicon 500, Red in Color. There are brackets for a Gun Boot attached but no Boot, faded "MONSTER" Energy drink stickers on each side of the plastics and Mud Bug tires. Police continue to investigate this occurrence and are seeking the publics assistance.

Stolen Truck Hood-North Battleford

Sometime between 2:50am and 10:30am on April 19, 2021, unknown person(s) entered a North Battleford property and smashed the driver’s side door window and stole the hood off the truck.  The truck was parked in the driveway and was a 2019 Black Dodge Ram with a Sport appearance package hood.

Theft of 2012 Harley Davidson Cruiser Touring Streetglide from North Battleford

Sometime between the early morning hours of April 21, 2021, a Black 2012 Harley Davidson Cruiser Touring Streetglide was stolen from a North Battleford residence.

The suspects gained access to the garage door by prying the over head door open. As the bike is very loud, the bike would have been pushed out of the garage.

The make of the handle bars are “Arlen Ness”, black in color, are 14” long and the diameter of them are 1 ½ “.

ATV Theft in North Battleford

Sometime between April 20, 2021 at 5:30pm and April 21, 2021 at 8:00am, unknown subjects entered the Royal Bank Tower Lot near 100th Street, North Battleford where a Water Security Agency company vehicle was parked.  The vehicle had a 2014 Yamaha Grizzly secured in the box of the truck with ratchet straps and chains.  However, the chains and straps were cut and the ATV unloaded and was driven away. A tri-fold loading ramp was also taken.

Diesel Theft near Glen Ewen

On April 18th, 2021, Carnduff RCMP received a report of stolen diesel from a land location 1 mile northeast of Glen Ewen, Saskatchewan. Over 800 liters of diesel was stolen.

Animal Trap Theft-Tway, Sk.


On March 17th, 2021, at 4:30 P.M. Wakaw RCMP was alerted to a break and enter into a shed in Tway, Saskatchewan. The individual stole approximately $10,000 worth of animal traps. This included beaver, wolf, and coyote traps. Some of the traps had an orange spray painted line on them making them easy to identify. The traps were in Rubbermaid totes.

On August 8th, 2020, a rural property in the RM of Saltcoats, near Rokeby, was entered by unknown individuals and various items were stolen totalling approximately $6000-8000 in automotive and vehicle repair parts, including automotive batteries, fuel, car tires, and various other parts and tools. To this date, this incident has been unsolved with no suspects being identified, and since this occurrence the victims property has been entered on numerous other occasions and additional parts have been taken.

Firearms Stolen From the Wilson Museum in Dundurn

On April 8th, 2021, at 2:17am, Saskatoon RCMP responded to a Break and Enter at the Wilson Museum in Dundurn, SK. where two guns were stolen.

First gun is a Mk 2 Submachine Gun (“Sten”) complete with magazine, no sling, folding frame stock. 9 mm.

Second gun is a Mk 2 Light Machine Gun (“Bren”) complete with magazine, 303 Caliber that has a flash eliminator at end of the barrel, brown wooden stock and grip, carrying handle and bi-pod stand.

Firearm Discharge in Leoville

Spiritwood RCMP and Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers are seeking the assistance of the public in the investigation of a firearms discharge.

On April 1st of 2021, Spiritwood RCMP was dispatched to the 200 block of 1st Avenue in Leoville. The complainant reported that an unknown person shot at his window with possibly a shotgun. The suspects left right away and the complainant could not identify anyone.

Fuel Theft in the Meath Park Area

In the early hours of March 31st, 2021, Nipawin RCMP were dispatched to a theft in the Meath Park area.  The suspect(s) were targeting fuel and struck multiple properties on the same evening. The vehicle involved was caught on surveillance video and is described as a two-tone, Dodge, extended cab truck with a tool box in the back.

Catalytic Converter Theft in Young

On March 26th Watrous RCMP received complaint of a catalytic converter stolen from a van in parked at the Co-op in Young, SK. The next day, more were noted stolen from the town shop. It is believed that these were all stolen on the night of the 25th, morning of the 26th.

Between 5:45am and 6:00am on the morning of July 25th, 2020 a person described as a short and heavyset male entered a rural residence near Paradise Hill, SK. Duck Lake Home Invasion/Robbery

On February 21st, 2021 at approximately 10pm two suspects burst into a residence in Duck Lake demanding money. The two suspects had their faces covered and were carrying sawed off rifles. The male and female homeowners were home at the time. The male homeowner was assaulted during this incident. An undisclosed amount of jewelry was stolen during this incident.

Suspect 1 description:
Approx 6’1 – 6’2 and slim, very aggressive, wearing all black, running shoes, and carrying a sawed off rifle with a dark wooden stock.

Suspect 2 description:
Approx 6 feet tall and slim wearing all black clothing, with a plastic style mask, and a white belt with a gold emblem on it, carrying a sawed off rifle.

Break and Enter - Cut Knife RCMP

On March 22nd 2021, Cut Knife RCMP received a complaint of a Break and Enter from a business in Neilburg. The owner reported numerous tools, a laptop, a 1980 Honda 50 CC motorbike, a white 2015 Enclosed trailer with Sk plate 864 LID, copper wire and various other items. The incident is believed to have occurred between Sunday, March 21st at noon and March 22nd at noon. Police continue to investigate this occurrence and are seeking assistance..

On November 25th, 2020, at approximately 2:30 AM, two males broke into the Rush Lake RM office and Rush Lake RM shop. The suspects are believed to have stolen money and a parcel.

Assist to Identify Operator of an ATV in Buffalo Narrows

Buffalo Narrows RCMP is requesting the assistance of the public to identify the operator of an ATV that fled during an attempted traffic stop on Pederson Ave (155 Hwy) in Buffalo Narrows. The ATV was traveling North on Pederson Avenue at Tom Street on March 23, 2020 at 6:35PM. The suspect is a male operating a yellow Can-am ATV and wearing a black or navy jacket and pants with reflective striping.

Over the past three months, there has been a theft of Civic Signs in Paynton area. Over a dozen signs had been stolen, and suspect(s) had been intentionally stealing signs by cutting off the post or unscrewing bolts.

These signs are property of the R.M. of Paynton No.470.

Stolen ATM in Davidson Gas Station Break & Enter

On March 20, 2021, between 4:59am – 5:03am, two individuals believed to be a male and a female, utilized a stolen truck and broke into a gas station in Davidson. One individual worked quickly to load the ATM while the other stole a large quantity of cigarettes. They were last seen headed towards Saskatoon.
Most of the stolen property has been recovered minus the contents of the ATM.

Generator Stolen in Wakaw

In the early morning hours of March 20, 2021 a generator was stolen in the town of Wakaw.

The generator is described as being a large blue 855NT Cummins MP855 Genset brand generator with lights on top of it. It contains a 300 gallon diesel tank attached to it and weighs approximately 20,000 pounds. The serial number for the generator is 479222 and is valued at $25,000-$30,000. 

A white truck was spotted on a security footage driving away from the scene while hauling the generator which appears to be a white Ford F-150.

Armed Robbery in St. Walburg

The Turtleford RCMP is asking for information from the public that may help solve an armed robbery that occurred on March 15th, 2021 at approximately 11:00pm in the community of St. Walburg, SK.

It is reported that two males entered a business located on 1st avenue in St. Walburg. Both were dressed in dark clothing. One of the males was possibly wearing a red face mask.  It was reported to police, that during the incident, one of the males pointed a handgun and demanded money and a cell phone. 

Both suspects left with an undetermined amount of cash in a black F150 with Alberta plates which was parked in front of the business on 1st Avenue.  The model year of the vehicle is believed to be between 2012 and 2016, with a FX4 logo on the back of the box and a trifold tonneau cover. The vehicle headed north on a grid road.

Break and Enters in St. Louis Area

Wakaw RCMP is asking the public for assistance in identifying suspects in a series of break and enters into the St Louis area.

During the early morning hours of February 28th, several businesses in the town of St Louis and residential farm in the RM of St Louis were broken into. Several items were stolen including a TV mounted to a wall piece, a grey/black 2011 Arctic Cat Prowler side x side, power tools (chop saw, welder, welding helmets, chain saw, etc), a set of 4 tires (on rims), 4 tires (no rims) and 2 - 30 pound propane tanks. The Arctic cat has no battery and was likely towed out with a chain.

It is believed that there are 2 vehicles involved – a dark coloured extended cab pickup truck with the bed filled with white bags, possibly tire bags, and an older model Oldsmobile type car. There are at least 3 persons involved.

Theft of High Voltage Wire from SaskPower Site-South of Cudworth

Wakaw RCMP is asking the public for assistance in locating high-voltage copper wire stolen from a SaskPower worksite south of Cudworth between February 18th and 22nd .

The core is copper wire, encased in approximately 5” of insulation and a reddish orange coating. The wire is approximately 100’ long, very heavy and has multiple metal attachments, hooks and other electrical additions. The wire would be difficult to strip and SaskPower is hopeful to locate any of the wire.

On January 28, 2021, a blue Jeep type vehicle was in the parking lot at the Emerald Ridge School in White City.  The driver of the vehicle was confronted by a member of the public because they were suspected of throwing eggs at houses.  The driver of vehicle described as a young male with blond hair took off from the parking lot hitting a parked Toyota Camry as he left.  The driver was aware he hit the other vehicle but left the scene.  The suspect vehicle has partial plate JML.

Tires Slashed-La Loche

On January 15, 2021 at around 12:28am, two individuals, believed to be teenagers went around La Loche and slashed tires on 10 different vehicles. Six on Toulejour Street, two on Little Lake Ave., and two on Descharme St. While running away the Suspects broke to window to a house at 200 block Montgrand street.

The suspects where described as both wearing checkered jackets one being around 6ft tall while the other was around 5’8.

Stolen Truck, Trailer and Snowmobiles from RM of Meota

Stolen overnight on the 25th of February from the RM of Meota;

2015 Toyota Tundra, Brown in colour bearing Sask license 599LKV, a 30 foot enclosed sled trailer with 4 Ski doo snowmobiles, sledding gear and a generator.

Break and Enter RM of Maryfeild Shop


Sometime during the night of February 23rd the Rural Municipality of Maryfield shop located at 999 Main Street, Maryfield was broken into. Approximately $2000 worth of tools were stolen including a Milwaukee 3/4 inch impact, Milwaukee 1/2 impact, Milwaukee cordless angle grinder, Milwaukee cordless 1/4 grinder, Milwaukee cordless reciprocating saw, Milwaukee 1/2 inch cordless drill, and a Lincoln 175 wire feed welder. The male suspect appears to be wearing a white or light colored jacket and appeared to be driving a dark colored 1/2 ton Chevrolet short box truck.

Theft of Firearms-Near Fenwood

On February 18, 2021, Melville RCMP responded to a suspicious persons/vehicle complaint at a rural property near Fenwood, Saskatchewan. At approximately 4:24 p.m., the homeowner noticed that a black car, driven by an unknown male, had backed in near their garage. As the homeowner went to investigate, the car drove to the end of the laneway and waited.

As the homeowner went back to the house to call 911, they were confronted by a second suspect who had been inside the house. The suspect was walking out of the residence carrying a number of firearms. The suspect allegedly pointed a handgun at the homeowner and fled with the stolen firearms to the waiting car. Both suspects then drove away heading westbound on Township Road 234. The homeowner did not sustain any physical injuries as a result of this incident.

Officers immediately conducted patrols in and around the area but neither the suspects nor the vehicle were located.

Suspect one (the driver) is described as being a white male, possibly in his late 20s, approx. 5’5”-5’6” tall, with a clean-shaven face.

Suspect two is described as being a white male with a light tan, possibly in his mid-30s, approx. 6’0” tall, with a clean-shaven face.

Both suspects were wearing dark hoodies.

The vehicle is described as a black four-door mid-sized sedan, possibly a Chevrolet.

In total, five firearms were stolen from the residence:

30-30 Winchester lever action rifle
30-06 M1 Garand rifle
.22 cal. Cooey Model 82 with a scope
12 gauge shotgun
10 gauge shotgun

On the morning of February 11, 2021 the Rosthern RCMP received a complaint of Theft from Zak’s Building Supply and Contracting in Hague. Several cordless and hand tools were stolen. Suspect was driving a smaller silver or white car, with possible right fender damage.

The Weyburn RCMP are asking for assistance from the public for information regarding a number of thefts from SaskPower facilities in the past few weeks.


Two SaskPower substations in the Halbrite area reported heavy ground cables were stolen.


Not only is this incredibly dangerous, it could also cause power outages to large areas in Saskatchewan.


The Weyburn RCMP would like to ask that if anyone sees people or vehicles at any SaskPower substations in the evening/overnight hours, that do not appear to belong there, to contact the RCMP.

Break & Enter into Mosque-RM of Corman Park

On January 27, 2021, between 6:00am and 7:00am in the RM of Corman Park, two suspects were noted on video surveillance using a pry bar to enter the Baitur Rahmat Mosque damaging the doors in the process. The two suspects are observed arriving and leaving the scene in grey car believed to be an early 2000’s Honda Civic.

Spiritwood RCMP are investigating three break and enters to the Shell Lake museum in the last month.  The first took place between 2021-01-10 and the 21st , Second between February 10th to 17 2021 and the third between the 18th and the 19th of February 2021. 

There was damage done to the museum and the following is a list of items stolen. The items missing are ;

Rosthern RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance with any information regarding a Break and Enter that occurred between the hours of 10:30 PM and 11:30 PM on February 16th, 2021 at the Valley Ford Dealership in Hague, Saskatchewan.

Break in to Storage Shed in Humboldt

The Humboldt RCMP and Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance from the public in solving a break and enter that occurred in Humboldt. At approximately 3:15 a.m. on the morning of August 14, a storage building on the 1200 block of 5th Avenue in Humboldt, SK was broken into. Suspects forced entry and approximately $200 dollars of merchandise was stolen. It is believed that 2-3 persons are responsible for this break-in. Local RCMP continue to investigate this matter.

Theft of pressurized gas tanks from Foam Lake

On the night or early morning of August 5th, 2020, a shed outside a business in Foam Lake was broken into. Approximately 6 pressurized tanks as seen below were stolen. Three of the tanks contained mig gas used for welding, two tanks contained oxygen and one tank contained helium.

SaskPower Copper Wire Theft - Maymont Area

On July 5th, 2020 around 9:30am there was a power outage in the Maymont area that was the result of an attempted theft of Copper wire from a SaskPower transformer station. In the attempt to steal the copper cables a transformer blew causing damage that was dangerous to SaskPower employees and the thieves themselves.

On April 14th, 2020 Humboldt RCMP were dispatched to a break in to a community hall in Lake Lenore. Sometime between March 23rd and April 14th unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the hall, which is located in the 200 block of 2nd Avenue. These two unknown persons involved in this break & enter were caught on CCTV entering a business in the early morning hours in the Hamlet of McCord, SK, Once inside the business, the individuals removed several sets of vehicle tires and batteries. At approximately 12:30am on Wednesday, June 12th, the Iron Grill Steakhouse in Kamsack was broken into. The suspect(s) broke the glass out of the South entrance door, and stole several bottles of alcohol.

Slight of Hand Theft-North Battleford

On 2018-08-01 the above pictured female was involved in a sleight of hand theft of cash from Canadian Tire. This female brought two high value items for purchase to the checkout. Once the items had been rung in the female handed the cashier a pile of $20 bills. The cashier counted the bills and then the female took the bills back to count them again herself. While doing so the female challenged the clerk on the amount shown on the register and as the cashier looked at the till screen to confirm the female skimmed off a quantity of the bills before returning the remaining ones to the cashier. Once the cashier received the bills back they were placed into the register without confirming. The female leaves the store but returned minutes later with the items requesting a full cash refund for the purchase. Upon review of video
surveillance by the store owner and review of the night cash out it was determined that the female was able to steal $140.00 cash.

Historical Criminal Negligence Causing Death

 

Prince Albert RCMP continue to investigate a historical Criminal Negligence Causing Death which occurred on the night of May 4th, 1985. A grid road northeast of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan in the RM of Paddockwood was washed out from heavy rains that year and was marked with signs on both sides of the wash out.  Unknown person(s) removed the sign from one side of the washout; subsequently, 23 year old Jacqueline Lavoie drove her car into the washed out portion of the roadway and died from injuries sustained in the collision.  Two passengers were seriously injured.

2009 GMC Sierra Theft in Melville

Melville RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in locating the person or persons responsible for the theft of a dark grey 2009 GMC Sierra in Melville, Saskatchewan.
