Residential Break and Enter in Lanigan

Humboldt/Lanigan R.C.M.P. is asking for the public’s assistance with information regarding a Break and Enter in the Town of Lanigan. Sometime between October 30 2019 and November 5 2019, unknown person(s) broke into an abandoned residence on Antrim Street causing damage to the residence. Humboldt/Lanigan RCMP continue their investigation.

Between 8:00pm and 8:30am on November 19/20, 2019 a vehicle back was smashed at the rear side of the Village Office at the Northern Village in Buffalo Narrows.

Vandalism to vehicles-Beauval

 

On December 2, 2019 Beauval RCMP received a complaint of vandalism to a vehicle in the Village of Beauval.  Those responsible punctured/slashed three new winter tires on a vehicle belonging to a resident of Beauval.  The event occurred some time between 9 PM on December 1, 2019 and 11 AM on December 2, 2019 when the damage was discovered.  The value of the set of winter tires is approximately $800.00. 

 

There have been two similar incidents in the past few weeks in the area, where tires have been damaged.

Fleeing Side by Side-North of Craven

On the evening of June 14th, 2019 Member of the Lumsden RCMP attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a red and white Can Am Maverick 1000R side by side quad on Highway 20 at the Junction of the 322 Highway North of Craven, SK. While attempting to execute the traffic stop the vehicle fled from Members. The vehicle was subsequently located abandoned in the area.

Generator Stolen from SaskPower Compound

In the night of the November 27th to November 28th, at the SaskPower compound South of Wadena, a generator was stolen. Generator is described as a Honda 3000.

Poppy Box Theft-Emerald Park

On November 10, 2019 at approximately 8:30pm a male stole a Royal Canadian Legion poppy donation box from a business in Emerald Park. The subject was wearing a black hat with a large letter B on it and dark clothing. He arrived and left in a small car driven by another individual.

Mischief to Garbage Bin/Dangerous Driving

The Lanigan RCMP and Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance from the public in solving a mischief that occurred between November 6th and 7th, 2019 at Lanigan. Sometime during the night, a newly installed garbage bin on Downing Drive was driven into and damaged. Tire tracks around the bin indicate that a vehicle was performing stunts and driving dangerously when it hit the bin.

Police have received numerous complaints about youth driving dangerously in town. The recent snowfall and freezing conditions adds to the potential of serious injury even at low speeds. Police are urging the public to immediately report and document any dangerous driving incident that they see happening. Information such as, dates, times, locations, license plates, descriptions of vehicles, descriptions of passengers, other witnesses, road conditions, and any other specifics relating to the event can help police in issuing tickets to drivers that fail to follow the rules of the road.

At around 3:50 am on September 23, 2019 two males, with their faces covered, broke into Dynasty Twin Cinemas in Melfort, Sk. The suspects stole a safe and approximately $5500 worth of cash and merchandise.

Break and Enter/Mischief to Abandoned Residence-Goodeve, Sk.

Melville RCMP Detachment is requesting the public's assistance locating the person(s) that are responsible for a break and enter/ mischief of an abandoned residence that occurred south-west of Goodeve, Saskatchewan. The house was entered through a boarded up front door and contents were strewn around on the inside. The break and enter/ mischief occurred between 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 3, 2019, and 10:45 a.m. on Nov. 11, 2019.

Vehicle Theft & Arson-Allan, Sk.

On October 24th, 2019, a grey 2003 Ford Focus was stolen from a residence in Allan around 8:00 pm. Locals in Bradwell reported a vehicle fire just outside Bradwell around 10:00 pm the same evening. The vehicle has been confirmed to be the same vehicle that was stolen earlier that evening out of Allan.

A vehicle reported to be driving from the fire shortly after it was started.

Theft of a Kubota Riding Lawnmower-Nipawin

Nipawin RCMP are investigating the theft of a Kubota Riding lawnmower

On November 7th between 1:00 AM and 2:00 AM, person or persons with a Red ATV hooked up to a flat bed trailer in Nipawin. The flat bed trailer was pulled to a isolated location where a Large Orange Kubota riding lawnmower was taken off the trailer and loaded onto another vehicle or trailer.

Bike Thefts-Gull Lake

Swift Current Rural RCMP are seeking assistance from the public in solving a series of property thefts in Gull Lake, SK.

On September 13, 2019, Swift Current Rural RCMP received several property theft complaints in Gull Lake that had occurred overnight. One of the thefts involved two stolen bikes from a residence.

One of the bikes was a black BMX youth bike. The other bike was a black BMX HARO youth bike with riding pegs on the front and back.

Hit & Run-Assiniboia

The Assiniboia RCMP request the public's assistance in locating the person(s) responsible for the hit and run that occurred in the parking lot of the Prince of Wales Centre at 201 3rd Ave West at apprximately 6:45 pm on September 20, 2019. The person(s) responsible is believed to be male, driving a newer model white Ford F-150 crew cab 4X4 with a chrome front and rear bumper. The truck reversed into a parked vehicle leaving the victim with a moderate amount of damage.

Arson-Buffalo Narrows

On July 10, 2019, a backhoe was found burnt off the 155 HWY outside of Bufalo Narrows. It was left at the gravel pits north of Buffalo Narrows, in Pat Robert's pit.

A set of tire tracks were observed that had turned around half way into the gravel pit. The fire was still smoldering, and degraded foot prints were found as it had rained recently.

Maidstone Break & Enter

Maidstone RCMP are investigating a break and enter and also damage to another vehicle that occurred in Maidstone on September 30, 2019, between 12:00am to 4:00am. The suspect vehicle appears to be a grey or tan, 4 door, Ford or Chevrolet truck with a slip tank in the back. The truck was in the Maidstone area, attempting to steal other vehicles and also involved with a B&E at the Domo Gas station. The truck was trying to steal a ATM out of the store.

Stolen Cargo Trailer-Invermay

On Saturday the 12th of October, 2019, a 20' white cargo trailer was reported stolen in Invermay, license plate on the trailer is 243 JMS. The trailer had a steel checkboard plates on front, has a single door and a large back door. There is a plastic plate inside that has a "Ed Antonio" on it.

On September 3, 2019, Carrot River RCMP received a call that sometime during the early morning hours, electronic equipment valued at $2000, which included an Apple lap top computer along with 2 hard drives, had been stolen from a vehicle that was parked at a residence in the 100 block on Pakwaw Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan.

Vintage Thrasher Stolen-Hague

On or between September 1 to 2, 2019 the Rosthern RCMP received a complaint of a Theft from the Hague Heritage land. Stolen was a vintage Case 2836 Thrasher.

Damage to Property-Near Meacham

Sometime near the end of July 2019, someone shot up a vehicle on a rural property near Meacham, SK.  The vehicle was parked on a concrete pad at an old farm yard.  Several large bullet holes were observed on the left side of the box, the tail gate and the windshield, suggesting a large calibre firearm.  No shell casings were recovered at the scene suggesting a revolver was used to shoot the vehicle.

In February of 2019 the Foam Lake RCMP received complaints of multiple break and enters to abandoned residences and sheds in the Sheho and Insinger area. It was reported that the suspects were stealing tools, saddles, boat seats, and several other items. In September of 2019 the Foam Lake RCMP received further complaints of break and enters to abandoned residences where the suspects were looking for property again.

Between July 26 and July 29th of 2019, the Foam Lake RCMP received three complaints of vandalism and attempted theft of mail from rural mailboxes at Insinger, Sheho, and Tuffnell, Saskatchewan.

Assist to Identify

On June 20, 2019, at approximately 10:30 p.m., an adult female was physically and sexually assaulted by an unknown male on a walking trail in the Bell’s Point neighbourhood.

The female was taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The male is described as the following:

·        Early 30s;

·        Approximately 6’4” tall and 200 lbs;

·        Short, black hair and dark-coloured eyes;

·        Crooked, yellow teeth;

·        Thick eyebrows;

·        Last seen in June 2019 wearing a faded black ACDC t-shirt with a white ACDC logo, jeans, a baseball cap and steel-toe boots.

We are looking to the public to help identify the unknown male. Any information about the incident that evening may be key to helping us further our investigation.

Brean and Enter and Theft in Greenwater

The Greenwater RCMP and Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance from the public in solving the following crime which between June 5, 2019 and June 12, 2019. During this time, unknown person(s) attended, broke into and entered into House 75 on Yellow Quill First Nation, Saskatchewan. Multiple items were stolen from the residence and significant damaged was caused to the property.

At approximately 12:30am on Wednesday, June 12th, the Iron Grill Steakhouse in Kamsack was broken into. The suspect(s) broke the glass out of the South entrance door, and stole several bottles of alcohol.

Historical Criminal Negligence Causing Death

 

Prince Albert RCMP continue to investigate a historical Criminal Negligence Causing Death which occurred on the night of May 4th, 1985. A grid road northeast of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan in the RM of Paddockwood was washed out from heavy rains that year and was marked with signs on both sides of the wash out.  Unknown person(s) removed the sign from one side of the washout; subsequently, 23 year old Jacqueline Lavoie drove her car into the washed out portion of the roadway and died from injuries sustained in the collision.  Two passengers were seriously injured.
