On September 3, 2019, Carrot River RCMP received a call that sometime during the early morning hours, electronic equipment valued at $2000, which included an Apple lap top computer along with 2 hard drives, had been stolen from a vehicle that was parked at a residence in the 100 block on Pakwaw Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan.

File: 2019-1385350 - Between the evening hours of September 10th, 2019 and the early morning hours of September 11th, 2019, a car parked in the alley way between Main St. and King St. in Rosetown had the back window smashed out.

File: 2019-1294897 - Sometime between August 1st, 2019 and August 27th, 2019 a theft occurred in the RM of St. Andrews. Several power tools, batteries, a fuel pump and fuel were stolen from a farm yard.

Break and Enter - La Loche RCMP Request Assistance from the Public

On August 25, 2019 at approximately 1 AM, an unknown person or persons broke into the local constituency office of Member of Parliament Georgina Jolibois.

So far no arrests have been made, however the investigation remains open. La Loche RCMP are requesting assistance from the public in identifying the suspect(s).

Trenching Saw Theft-North Battleford

Over the weekend of September 28, 2019, to September 30,2019, Dwight’s Trenching had one of their trenching saws stolen from their storage container at Township Road 444. The trenching saw is on a kart with wheels. The trenching saw’s serial number is: EK7651H.

On July 22nd, 2019, a 19ft Roadclipper (Diamond C) flat deck trailer was stolen from a work site in Fiske, Sk. Serial Number 19PXL2082. The trailer also had “Aecon” logo on it.

Vintage Thrasher Stolen-Hague

On or between September 1 to 2, 2019 the Rosthern RCMP received a complaint of a Theft from the Hague Heritage land. Stolen was a vintage Case 2836 Thrasher.

Damage to Property-Near Meacham

Sometime near the end of July 2019, someone shot up a vehicle on a rural property near Meacham, SK.  The vehicle was parked on a concrete pad at an old farm yard.  Several large bullet holes were observed on the left side of the box, the tail gate and the windshield, suggesting a large calibre firearm.  No shell casings were recovered at the scene suggesting a revolver was used to shoot the vehicle.

In February of 2019 the Foam Lake RCMP received complaints of multiple break and enters to abandoned residences and sheds in the Sheho and Insinger area. It was reported that the suspects were stealing tools, saddles, boat seats, and several other items. In September of 2019 the Foam Lake RCMP received further complaints of break and enters to abandoned residences where the suspects were looking for property again.

On the 1st of September, 2019, two males attempted to break into a residence on 4th Ave S in Melfort, Saskatchewan. The home owner confronted the males and was bear sprayed in the process.

Assist to Identify

On June 20, 2019, at approximately 10:30 p.m., an adult female was physically and sexually assaulted by an unknown male on a walking trail in the Bell’s Point neighbourhood.

The female was taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The male is described as the following:

·        Early 30s;

·        Approximately 6’4” tall and 200 lbs;

·        Short, black hair and dark-coloured eyes;

·        Crooked, yellow teeth;

·        Thick eyebrows;

·        Last seen in June 2019 wearing a faded black ACDC t-shirt with a white ACDC logo, jeans, a baseball cap and steel-toe boots.

On August 14/15, 2019, Kamsack RCMP had reports of multiple break and enters into garden sheds and garages which occurred in the town of Kamsack.

Armed Robbery-North Battleford

On August 28th, 2019, at approximately 6:10-6:15 pm, a teenage male was robbed at knife point in the area of 13th Ave and 104th St., North Battleford. The suspect told the victim to empty his pockets and took his cell phone. At the time of the robbery, the suspect had his hood pulled up, but was not wearing a mask of any kind.

The suspect is described as a young First Nations male, approx. 6' tall, slim to medium build with a broad nose and noticeable acne. The male had short black hair, brown eyes, and was wearing a grey hoodie with a black zipper, blue jeans, and black shoes.

The suspect may have fled north on foot from 13th Avenue.

The involved knife is described as having a black handle, black blade, a silver tip, and a silver sharp edge.

Theft in Frenchman Butte

Sometime overnight on August 10th, 2019, a seacan container located at a power transfer site belonging to a local business was broken in to in the R.M of Frenchman Butte. 3 x spools of camo copper wire (low scrap value) and 6 x spools of #2 uninsulated copper wire were stolen from inside the container. The spools’ combined value is reported to be approximately $100,000. Attached are the photos of the spools that was taken before the spools were stolen.

Melville RCMP: Request to locate person(s) responsible for break and enter, theft in Leross, SK

Melville RCMP are requesting the public's assistance in locating the person(s) responsible for the break-and-enter and theft from the Department of Highways in Leross, SK.

 

The incidents are believed to have occurred between 5 p.m. on July 17, 2019, to 6 a.m. on July 18, 2019.

Camper Trailer Theft-Hudson Bay

On July 6th 2019, a person renting land in the Hudson Bay R.M near Erwood, Saskatchewan came home in the early hours of the day and noticed his camper trailer was missing. The renter had been gone for two weeks. The trailer is a 30 foot long beige/cream coloured Terry Resort Camper Trailer bearing license plate 828 KGE. The trailer does not have any propane tanks, regulator hoses or battery.

Theft of Trailer- Stoughton

Sometime between July 17, 2019 at approximately 3:00pm and 7:00am on July 18, 2019, a 2007 24ft Roadmaster trailer (680 HKF) was stolen near Stoughton. The trailer was custom designed and is silver and black in color with "Predator" written on the front above the hitch. Inside the trailer were work clothes, coveralls, work boots, a table as well as various cords and a mouse for a computer. The trailer is valued at approximately $25000.

Sometime between the morning of July 20th, 2019 and the night of July 21st, 2019, two industrial Stihl Quick Cut Concrete Saws were stolen from a CN Truck in the Comfort Inn parking lot on Dracup Avenue within Yorkton, SK.

Stolen bailer- Watrous

At approximately 1:10 am on July 19th, a Ford F-350 or F450 (1999-2007) went into a business and stole a 2014 John Deer 569 Round Bailer. The truck has a wooden flat deck, running boards and a black fender skirt.

The driver was wearing grey mechanic coveralls and another person wearing an orange safety vest was sitting in the back seat.

Lost Roll of Water Line - Ponteix

On July 17th 2019 around approximately 1:30 p.m., a large roll of black water line was left in a ditch approximately two miles East of Cadillac on HWY 13. When the owners returned around 2:30 p.m., the water line was missing.

Break & Enter-Kamsack

At approximately 12:30am on Wednesday, June 12th, the Iron Grill Steakhouse in Kamsack was broken into. The suspect(s) broke the glass out of the South entrance door, and stole several bottles of alcohol.

Police have been made aware that the CCTV footage has been shared on social media, and are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect(s).

Historical Criminal Negligence Causing Death

 

Prince Albert RCMP continue to investigate a historical Criminal Negligence Causing Death which occurred on the night of May 4th, 1985. A grid road northeast of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan in the RM of Paddockwood was washed out from heavy rains that year and was marked with signs on both sides of the wash out.  Unknown person(s) removed the sign from one side of the washout; subsequently, 23 year old Jacqueline Lavoie drove her car into the washed out portion of the roadway and died from injuries sustained in the collision.  Two passengers were seriously injured.
