Break and Enter into fast food restaurant in Humboldt

Sometime between midnight and 4 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2020, a fast food restaurant located on the 800th block of 8th Avenue on the corner of Main Street, in Humboldt, was broken into and approximately $5000 was stolen.

 

There were no employees or customers inside the restaurant at the time of the incident.

 

The Humboldt RCMP and the Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance from the public in identifying the individual(s) involved with this incident.

Bike Theft-Rosetown

Rosetown RCMP are investigating a bike theft that occurred in Rosetown on or around September 8th, 2020. The bike is a Black Two Forty Three Dirt Jumper.

Robbery-Pelican Narrows

On Friday, July 10th, 2020 at approximately 4:15 AM in Pelican Narrows, Saskatchewan, a male was violently robbed in the 2800 block of Mccallum Street. Video footage was obtained and depicts a young male assailant wearing a black hooded sweater, black pants with short white stripes, black shoes and a hat, attacking an older male. The male assailant stole several belongings from the victim. The assailant was seen going south on Mccallum Street.

Boat/Hockey Equipment Theft-RM of Dundurn

A break and enter occurred sometime between Sept 19th 8am to Sept. 20th, 2020 3:30 pm. at a residence 3 kms south of Dundurn.

Suspect(s) stole one Black hockey KOHO bag with hockey goalie equipment inside (hockey pants Saskatoon AAA Contacts, Humbolt broncos and Seattle Thunderbird pants.  2 helmets #21 Black and #12 white helmet with Humbolt Broncos stickers on them)

Suspect(s) also stole speed boat and trailer.  Plate # 396 FXM from outside driveway.  Boat is a burgandy / silver pinstripes 1976 Checkmate inboard Mercury motor 225 hp.  Word "violent" written on the side of the motor. Checkmate decals on the seats. 18 ft long.  Value $20,000.

Theft of Firearms from Kuroki

On the night or early morning of July 19/20th, 2020, an unknown person(s) walked onto a property in Kuroki. The suspects had broken into a large shed and took items which included  two firearms. One of the firearms was a Ruger 10/22 long rifle. Serial number 25477305.

Attempted Break & Enter at Invermay Post Office

On the night or early morning of September 17/18th, 2020, an unknown person(s) walked into the Invermay Canada Post located at 102 Main Street and attempted to break into locked mail boxes.

Residential Break & Enter in Humboldt

The Humboldt RCMP and Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance from the public in solving a break and enter in Humboldt. Sometime between September 12th and 17th, 2020, a home on the 1200 block of 13 Street in Humboldt was broken into. Two Xbox One gaming consoles, a Nintendo Switch gaming console, and several video games were stolen from the residence.

Theft of Quad-Carlyle

Sometime between Sept. 17 at 7:30pm and Sept. 19 at 1:00pm, suspect(s) broke into the Moose Mountain Leisure business in Carlyle, SK. The suspect(s) cut the fence and stole a red 2020 Arctic Cat Alterra 700 with an estimated value of $12,000.

Joyriding Combine Results in Property Damages

Between 9:00 PM on September 18, 2020 and 8:00 AM on September 19, 2020, approximately 6 Kilometers South of Kylemore, Saskatchewan near Fishing Lake First Nation Reserve, an unknown person or person(s) broke into a J I Case 2094 Tractor damaging the glass window. The individual(s) then drove said tractor around a field damaging a large quantity of crop. Total damages are in excess of $2000.00.

Chamberlain Break & Enter

On August 26th, 2020 at approximately 03:00 hrs, an unknown male used a white Dodge Ram to force a 4” pipe through a glass exterior door and break into the Esso in Chamberlain. The male wearing a face covering, entered the building and stole several sunglasses, food items and other misc. items.

Blaine Lake RCMP seek assistance from public in locating two males involved in robbery and assault

On September 14, 2020, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Blaine Lake RCMP received the report of an adult male victim who was laying on the ground in front of a building in Blaine Lake, SK.

Officers arrived immediately and located the 79-year-old victim who appeared to have sustained injuries from a physical assault. The victim was treated and cleared on scene by EMS.

Initial police investigation revealed the victim was assaulted by two unknown males after refusing their request to drive them to Prince Albert. The males stole the victim’s cellphone, keys and his grey 2007 Ford F150 truck with Saskatchewan license plate 167 IUM. The two males fled in the truck and were believed to have travelled north on Highway #40.

The first male was described as having a heavy build with long hair. The second male was described as having a slim build and appeared to be younger than the first male.

Blaine Lake RCMP along with other nearby RCMP detachments and municipal police agencies assisted in the search for the suspects and the stolen truck, but efforts have been unsuccessful so far.

Residential Break & Enter-Buffalo Narrows

Between August 26th, 2020 at 08:00 AM and August 27th, 2020 at 19:30 PM a Break and Enter occurred in the residence of a resident of Buffalo Narrows on Davey’s Street. Damage was done to the back door and sliding window in addition to the interior of the residence having been extensively gone through by the perpetrator(s). The owner was out of town at the time of the incident. Multiple items were taken from the residence including:
$2,000 worth of DVD’s (Box Sets of True Blood, Band of Brothers, How in the Pacific, Rome, and other lone DVD’s)
$80 Black 4C Cell Flashlight
$500 damage to door and window

Freedom Centre Break & Enter-Buffalo Narrows

Between September 4th, 2020 at 16:00 PM and September 11th, 2020 at 16:00 PM, a Break and Enter at the Freedom Centre in Buffalo Narrows on Hanson Street. Damage was done to the back wall, where the suspect(s) broke the wall from outside in creating a large hole to gain access to the interior of the building. Multiple items were smashed including glass antiques believed to have been hit with a golf club found at the scene and stuff animals torn apart. Graffiti was also located one a wall inside the centre reading “Tony was here with Leo”. Multiple items were taken from the Centre including:
5 xbox games missing (Call of Duty Ghost, Tron Evolution, Fable III, S3KX, and Assassins Creed IV Black Flag)
Steak Knives
Golf Clubs made by RAM
$1000 damage to wall

Trailer Stolen from Vonda

Sometime in the overnight hours hours between September 9 and September 10, 2020, a 2014 tandem axle, Diamond Trailer was stolen from the Town Shop buildings in Vonda. SK Plate 457JGE. The trailer had side rails built out of 2x4 posts with 2x8 or 2x10 runners as well as 1x4 boards in between the runners.

A boat trailer was vandalised, 2 tires on the passenger side were slashed. The event happened between 5:00pm and 11:00am the next day.

Foam Lake Break & Enter

During the morning of the 6th of August 2020, Wadena RCMP received a report of an alarm at the Ok Tire in Foam Lake.
 
A suspect attempted to enter the building by the side door using a pry bar. When the alarm went off, the suspect fled the scene. According to the owner, nothing appears to be  stolen. A video footage was available at the time of the offence but no description of the suspect is available due to poor quality of image.

Break & Enters in Drake, Sk.

Between the evening of September 8, 2020 and the morning of September 9 , 2020 multiple businesses located on Francis Street in the village of Drake were broken into. Suspect(s) forced entry into these businesses, resulting in approximately $1600 of cash being stolen. Attempted Arson-Pelican Narrows

On Friday, July 10, 2020 at 7:30pm, Pelican Narows RCMP received a complaint of a male waering all black had attempted to start a fire on a house on the 2800 block of Kaskew Street in Pelican Narrows. At 3:53am the male used a lighter to light up the tarp outside of the house and attempted to set the porch on fire. The male was descibed as medium height, slim build, wearing black pants and a black hooded sweater seen in the photo.

Missing Cattle-Belbutte

Four yearling heifers, black with black/white face or red's branded N over B left hip, with red dangle tags, went missing from bush pasture northwest of Belbutte. They were last seen mid-June.

Theft of Copper Wire RM of Leroy, SK

Humboldt RCMP are currently investigating a theft of copper wire from a power pole at a rural location in the RM of Leroy. 

This type of theft poses a significant safety concern.  Since the meter is no longer grounded there is concern that the area around the power pole can become energized and electrocution is possible.  There is also a risk of fire from this type of theft.

Break, Enter at Theft in Muenster, SK

A break and enter occurred on college street in Muenster on Friday August 21st, 2020 between 11:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. the next day. It is believed suspect(s) entered from a roof cellar door, and once inside suspect(s) damaged and moved property around. No one was injured as a result of this incident. Humboldt RCMP are seeking any public input in regards to witness evidence, exterior video of this area, or information on this crime.

Horse Shot and Killed - Senlac, Saskatchewan

On September 6th, 2020, the Unity RCMP were called to a rural property near the Village of Senlac. The caller reported that someone had shot one of his horses. A member attended and confirmed that the horse had been shot with a firearm. The horse was on private land. There are no suspects at this time and Illegal hunting activity is suspected. The RCMP are asking all residents of the area to remain vigilant and report any suspicious persons or vehicles that may be trespassing on private land or hunting out of season.

On the night of August 29th, 2020, at around 11 PM, a 2015 blue Jeep Cherokee was parked out front of the bar in Kuroki SK. An unknown person slashed the rear passenger tire.

Attempted Robbery-Cut Knife

Cut Knife RCMP are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred at a business located on the 200 block of Broad Street in Cut Knife on Friday, February 14, 2020.

The individual is described as a 20 to 30 year-old male, approximately 5'10" to 6’2” tall with a slender build. He was seen wearing black gloves, a black hoodie and black pants with two white stripes down the side.

Cable Theft from a Residence-Pinehouse Lake

At approximately 2:00am on Monday, August 17, 2020, property was stolen from a residence on Johnson Avenue in Pinehouse Lake. Two unidentified males fled the area on a quad. The property stolen included a large spool of South Wire cable.

Mischief to Vehicles in Humboldt Area

Humboldt RCMP and Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance from the public in solving a few unsolved occurrences in the Humboldt and Bruno area.

In the overnight hours of July 22, between 11:00 pm and the next morning, a golf cart was stolen from the 600 block of 11th street in Humboldt. It was later brought back, but it had suffered some damage.

In between August 17th and August 18th, a vehicle parked on the side of Hwy 5 on the east side of Humboldt was broken into. The passenger window was smashed and the vehicles stereo along with tools were stolen from the car.

Around 1:00 am on August 26, a lawn statue was thrown at a vehicle parked on Main Street in Bruno. The front window of the car, as well as the statue were broken as a result of this act of vandalism.  It is believed a red pickup truck with exhaust stacks was seen in the area around this time.

Shed Broken into on Fishing Lake First Nation

On the night or early morning of June 23rd, 2020, a shed on the property of House 538 Fishing Lake First Nation, SK, was broken into and a jerry can of gas was stolen. There was forced entry into the shed as the hinge had been broken in two.

Fuel Theft-Rosetowm

Sometime between the evening of August 17,2020 and morning of August 18, 2020, a semi tractor unit was parked at the COOP Convenience/Gas bar parking lot in Rosetown. Upon the truck driver performing the pre trip inspection, it was found that fuel was taken from the truck and a Gerry can that was strapped to the trailer had also been emptied.

Break in to Storage Shed in Humboldt

The Humboldt RCMP and Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance from the public in solving a break and enter that occurred in Humboldt. At approximately 3:15 a.m. on the morning of August 14, a storage building on the 1200 block of 5th Avenue in Humboldt, SK was broken into. Suspects forced entry and approximately $200 dollars of merchandise was stolen. It is believed that 2-3 persons are responsible for this break-in. Local RCMP continue to investigate this matter.

Theft of pressurized gas tanks from Foam Lake

On the night or early morning of August 5th, 2020, a shed outside a business in Foam Lake was broken into. Approximately 6 pressurized tanks as seen below were stolen. Three of the tanks contained mig gas used for welding, two tanks contained oxygen and one tank contained helium.

Arson-Pelican Narrows

On Friday July 10th, 2020 at 3:30AM Pelican Narrows RCMP were dispatched to a structure fire in the 2800 block of Mccallum Street in Pelican Narrows, Saskatchewan. The fire started to spread from the north side to the south end of the trailer. An anonymous caller reported seeing 5-7 young persons aged 12-14 years old running around at the window of the trailer just before the fire started. All of them were wearing black clothing.

Tisdale Multi Purpose Complex Break & Enter

On July 7, 2020 at 1:35 am, four individuals broke into a multi purpose facility on the 800 block of 101 Street in Tisdale. The suspects gained entry but were deterred by security measures on site and fled the scene.

On July 18th, 2020, a Fifth wheel trailer parked at a residence in Harris, SK was broken into. Nothing was stolen.

SaskPower Copper Wire Theft - Maymont Area

On July 5th, 2020 around 9:30am there was a power outage in the Maymont area that was the result of an attempted theft of Copper wire from a SaskPower transformer station. In the attempt to steal the copper cables a transformer blew causing damage that was dangerous to SaskPower employees and the thieves themselves.

Theft of Semi from Regina

On July 23, 2020 a 2011 white Kenworth heavy vehicle was stolen from a compound on Industrial Drive North of Regina. The semi was driven through the gate and has Bergen Excavating on the side.

Break, Enter & Theft in Invermay

On July 20th of 2020 at approximately 1:00am, two suspects broke into Clear View Agro Limited located in Invermay. 

The suspects can be seen on video surveillance driving an older model, grey GMC truck. The truck has a second row of seating in the back but no second door. The truck also has chrome rails that run alongside the box of the truck. The suspects stole a Honda power generator.

On the same night at approximately 1:45 am, a resident of Margo had a trailer stolen. The trailer is a black, 16ft long, flat bed trailer. The trailer has a yellow “fast toys for boys” decal on the back and side. The trailer has a Saskatcewan license plate of 383GLS.

The Rural Municipality would later make a complaint that fuel and property was stolen the during the same time from their compound in Kuroki. At this time all incidents are believed to be related. These crimes appear to be related and happened during the same time frame.

On the 18th of July, 2020, in the early morning hours, unknown persons unlawfully entered a private residence, taking 5 firearms with a small amount of U.S. cash.

The individual(s) entered the residence through a window at the rear of the building. While inside, they located a safe and entered it, taking the items inside.

Residential Break & Enter in Buffalo Narrows

On November 20, 2019 a residence in Buffalo Narrows, Saskatchewan was broken into and revisited on several occasions over the night. A masked individual destroyed exterior cameras at the residence but was still captured on camera inside the residence. 3 firearms were stolen from the residence and the basement window was open/smashed.

The two firearms still missing are a Browning BBR and Steven’s 94 Sawed Off Shotgun.

Break and Enter to Town/Village Office- Val Marie

On the 10th of July 2020, in the early morning hours, unknown persons unlawfully entered the Village/RM #17 administrative building removing cash and valuables.

The individual(s) enter the business through an access door to the rear of the building normally prying the door open. Once inside the business, the individual(s) will search for a safe, cash box or register. The individual(s) will scourer the interior of the business to locate a set of keys or combination to the safe or locked items.

The RCMP is asking that upon your departure from your place of business, please ensure that all cash is removed and the entry points are secured.

Mischief to Vehicle-Rosetown

A Rosetown Resident reported that he had taken his vehicle into a local auto repair business, at the end of June, due to the vehicle not starting. Upon the mechanical inspection, it was discovered there had been corn syrup placed in the gas tank causing extensive damage to the vehicle.

Wadena Swimming Pool Break and Enter

On or between the dates of July 3-7, 2020, unidentified suspects have been breaking into the Wadena Swimming pool causing damage to the fence to get in. There have been previous reports of people entering the swimming pool, which is closed at this time, causing damage to the pool coverings and barricades.

Break in to Hall in Lake Lenore

On April 14th, 2020 Humboldt RCMP were dispatched to a break in to a community hall in Lake Lenore. Sometime between March 23rd and April 14th unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the hall, which is located in the 200 block of 2nd Avenue. The building was vandalized for approximately $1400 in damages. RCMP continue to investigate this matter and are requesting the public’s assistance with any information regarding this.

These two unknown persons involved in this break & enter were caught on CCTV entering a business in the early morning hours in the Hamlet of McCord, SK, Once inside the business, the individuals removed several sets of vehicle tires and batteries. The suspects departed the business, entered the rear storage yard where 6 electric fuel pumps were removed.

The Greenwater RCMP and Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance from the public in solving the following crime which between June 5, 2019 and June 12, 2019. During this time, unknown person(s) attended, broke into and entered into House 75 on Yellow Quill First Nation, Saskatchewan. Multiple items were stolen from the residence and significant damaged was caused to the property.

At approximately 12:30am on Wednesday, June 12th, the Iron Grill Steakhouse in Kamsack was broken into. The suspect(s) broke the glass out of the South entrance door, and stole several bottles of alcohol.

Slight of Hand Theft-North Battleford

On 2018-08-01 the above pictured female was involved in a sleight of hand theft of cash from Canadian Tire. This female brought two high value items for purchase to the checkout. Once the items had been rung in the female handed the cashier a pile of $20 bills. The cashier counted the bills and then the female took the bills back to count them again herself. While doing so the female challenged the clerk on the amount shown on the register and as the cashier looked at the till screen to confirm the female skimmed off a quantity of the bills before returning the remaining ones to the cashier. Once the cashier received the bills back they were placed into the register without confirming. The female leaves the store but returned minutes later with the items requesting a full cash refund for the purchase. Upon review of video
surveillance by the store owner and review of the night cash out it was determined that the female was able to steal $140.00 cash.

Historical Criminal Negligence Causing Death

 

Prince Albert RCMP continue to investigate a historical Criminal Negligence Causing Death which occurred on the night of May 4th, 1985. A grid road northeast of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan in the RM of Paddockwood was washed out from heavy rains that year and was marked with signs on both sides of the wash out.  Unknown person(s) removed the sign from one side of the washout; subsequently, 23 year old Jacqueline Lavoie drove her car into the washed out portion of the roadway and died from injuries sustained in the collision.  Two passengers were seriously injured.

2009 GMC Sierra Theft in Melville

Melville RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in locating the person or persons responsible for the theft of a dark grey 2009 GMC Sierra in Melville, Saskatchewan.

The pickup truck was stolen on Sunday March 22, 2020 at around 9:00 p.m. from a residence in Melville. It has a large sticker that says “Melville Auto Glass” on the rear window.
