Thefts from Vehicles-Assiniboia

The Assiniboia RCMP request the public's assistance in locating the person(s) resposible for 2 thefts from vehicles that occurred in Assinboia sometime between 11:30pm May 9 and 7:30am May 10, 2017. The person(s) responsible gained entry to the vehicles as the owners had left the doors unlocked and stole various items including car keys.

Arson-Cote First Nation

On May 13th, 2017 the Kamsack RCMP received a report of a house fire on the Cote First Nation. It is believed that the residence was deliberately set on fire and the Kamsack RCMP are seeking the publics assistance in identifying possible suspect(s)

On the date of May 20, 2017 a landowner near Krydor & Hafford, Saskatchewan reported to the Blaine Lake RCMP that he had located hundreds of ceramic/ plaster moulds which were discarded on his rural property.  Police attended and confirmed that there were several hundred complete moulds used in the ceramic/ pottery business dumped down an embankment on the property.  This is believed to have occurred between September, 2016 and early May, 2017.  Due to the nature and circumstances of this incident, it is believed that the moulds originated from a business which discarded same and did not want to pay for the disposal costs.

Vehicle Vandalism-Oxbow, Sk.

Between April 17th and April 26th, 2017, a vehicle was damaged at the Oxbow School parking lot. The passenger side handle was broken and the driver's door was scratched.

Maidstone/Lloydminster/Lasburn Area Break & Enters

The Maidstone RCMP Detachment is requesting assistance in regards to some current investigations,
 
In the early hours of May 10, 2017, the Lashburn, SASK, Subway was broken into by three culprits [4 photos attached, Photo 1 - 4], they forcefully entered the building but fled a short time later. The suspects are described as:


#1- 5'9" to 5'10" tall, muscular build wearing a grey Underarmour t-shirt, blue jeans and a ball cap, he possibly has tattoos to his upper arms.
 
#2- 5'10" to 6'0 tall, wearing blue jeans, ball cap and a distinctive white zip-up hoodie
 
#3- Female, 5'3" to 5'5" tall, black hoodie carrying a purse.
 
On May 10, 2017, the Maidstone RCMP was called to a residence near Lloydminster, SASK, in the rural municipality of Britannia in regards to a Break and Enter. Several electronics were stolen including a Canon DSLR Camera, Applie iPAD, Samsung "Curve" TV and a Vera Wang necklace [photo attached]
 
On May 13, 2017, the Maidstone RCMP responded to a Break and Enter in progress at a business north of Lloydminster. The suspects were approached by a neighbour, shortly afterward they fled in a blue mini-van. The vehicle was last scene in the area of range road 3281 and township road 504. The suspects broke into several vehicles and stole vehicle parts, including a set of 4 tires that were recovered not far from where the incident occurred.
 
On May 16 a 2009 Toyota Tacoma, Black, with Saskatchewan License plate 908JEA was stolen from 2 Avenue East in Maidstone, SASK. Property from the vehicle was recovered along Highway 16 near Maidstone, SASK. The vehicle has yet to be located.

Bank Robbery-Glenworth, Sk.

On Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at approximately 9:45 a.m. Ponteix RCMP responded to a call of a robbery at a financial institution in the community of Glentworth, SK. Initial investigation has revealed a lone male wearing a mask and carrying a firearm entered the institution and demanded money. He left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash heading south down Main St. No one was injured in the incident.  

 

The male is described as:

 

5 feet, 8 or 9 inches

Stocky build

Unshaven

Late 40s or early 50s

Wearing a black toque and a camouflage-style jacket

Assist to Idenitfy-Warman Fraud

On April 17, 2017 a male and a female entered the Warman Hotel and attempted to use a fraudulent credit card to purchase liquor from the off-sale. The male in the photo has come into the Warman Hotel off-sale several times in the past few months and used a credit card that initially appears to provide payment, however upon the stores month end there is a charge back to the store, for his purchases. Warman RCMP is requesting assistance with the identification of the individuals involved.

Assist to Identify-Harris Bar & Hotel Break & Enter

At about 5 AM on April 26th, 2017 Rosetown RCMP attended a complaint of a break and enter in progress at the Harris Bar and Hotel in Harris, SK. Suspects entered through the patio door and made their way to the bar where they stole a cash register. The suspects were interrupted by the owner and fled.

Suspect’s vehicle tracks were followed South, then East onto a grid to Ardath (NW of Outlook) where the tracks were lost near Hwy 45. The attached surveillance stills are poor quality but show the two suspects in the bar.

A witness said they likely were driving a dark coloured, newer, Chev truck.

Break & Enter-A&W Estevan

On April 16, 2017 between the hours of 2100-0530, a break and enter occurred at the Estevan A&W restaurant. Money was stolen from the safe. The suspect gained entry through an exterior wall which lead into the public washroom. The staff office was broken into, where the safe was located. A 2007 black Chevrolet pickup truck was seen parked and idling in the alley between 2230-2300 hours.

Truck Theft-Gull Lake

The Swift Current Rural RCMP are looking for the public's assistance in solving a theft of a motor vehicle that occurred at a business in Gull Lake.

Sometime shortly after midnight May 8, 2017, a white paneled van approached a business located on Kings Ave, the driver suspect got out and took a Ford F-250. The van proceeded north to Highway #1, tuned east and continued east bound.

Break & Enter-Stanley Mission Co-op

 

The Stanley Mission RCMP is requesting assistance in identifying the suspect of a break and enter at the Stanley Mission Coop which occurred on April 12th, 2017 at 01:21a.m. The person is approximately 5’10’’-5’11’’ and was wearing a black zip-up sweater, black sweat pants with white script on the front left leg. The suspect had what appears to be a red bandana covering his face. The suspect was carrying a machete. Numerous cigarettes packs and Snuff were stolen during the break and enter.

Truck Theft-Gravelbourg

Sometime between 9:30 PM on May 13th and 6:30 AM on May 14th, suspect(s) stole a pickup truck. The vehicle was parked in front of a residence on 2nd Avenue East in Gravelbourg.

The pickup is described as follow:

096 JDH(sask), 1996 GMC, black, single cab 8 foot bed, had a light bar across the roof and a cardboard on the back window.

The vehicle was recovered half a mile South of Vanguard, Saskatchewan.

Assist to Identify-Tisdale Robbery

At approximately 9:40 am on Tuesday May 16, 2017, Tisdale RCMP responded to a complaint of an Armed Robbery at the Bee Hive Hotel in Tisdale. A male, carrying a knife, entered the business and demanded cash. The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and a 24 pack of Pilsner cans and headed towards downtown (100 Street) in Tisdale.
The male is described as Caucasian, 6 feet tall with a slender build and was wearing blue jeans and a blue jean jacket with a dark coloured hood

Vehicle Break-ins-Air Ronge

On Tuesday May 16th, 2017 at approximately 08:00 AM La Ronge RCMP received multiple complaints of vehicle mischief and break-ins within the community of Air Ronge, in the Old Air Ronge area.

La Ronge RCMP is reminding the public to remove valuables and ensure their vehicles are locked. It is also important to report all suspicious activity to police, even if nothing has been stolen. Thorough reporting allows the RCMP to identify patterns and potential suspects, particularly chronic offenders. It can also allow for recovered stolen property to be returned to the rightful owners.

Members of the Gravelbourg RCMP are requesting information about a mischief that occurred on 3rd Street West in Lafleche, Saskatchewan.

Sometime between 6:00 pm on May 12 and 3:30 pm on May 14, 2017, suspect(s)sprayed shaving cream on windows of a residence and on cars parked along the street. A window from an entrance door was also broken. Damage to the door estimated at $200.00.

Battery Theft-Yellow Quill FN

Between April 28, 2017 and May 1, 2017, unknown person(s) stole two batteries in a vehicle parked outside a residence in the Yellow Quill First Nation, Saskatchewan. The stolen batteries are estimated to be worth between $300 and $400 each.  The Greenwater RCMP continue their investigation.

Sometime between 10:00pm,May 10th and 7:00am, May 11, 2017 someone stole about 700 litres of diesel from a truck southease of Marceline, Sk. It is believed that the suspects had a trailor.

Between the night of March 7th, 2017 and the morning of March 8th , 2017 two suspects forcibly entered the McCord Museum through the backyard door in McCord, SK. Numerous items were stolen including an antique hand-made bear trap, and an antique Gutta Percha Tires sign.

 Around the date of April 30, 2017, unknown person(s) broke the window of a holiday travel trailer parked at a business on the 2000 block of Chaplin Street W. Upon inspection of the window, it appears that a pellet gun was discharged at the trailer. No persons were hurt during the commission of this offence.

In the early hours of May 8, 2017 a farm in the Rural Municipality of Baildon was the victim of a break and enter.  A number of long arms including shotguns, rifles, a muzzle loader and ammunition were stolen.

Stolen Trailer/Snowmobiles-near Sturgeon Lake

Between May 2, 2017, and May 5th, 2017 a locked compound in the Shellbrook Rural Municipality near Sturgeon Lake was broken into, and an enclosed trailer stolen.  The trailer is a twenty-six foot Royal XL, black and charcoal in colour.  The following items were inside the trailer and were also stolen:

a grey and orange 2015 Ski Doo Backcountry 800 CC snowmobile 
a black and red 2015 Ski Doo 800 CC snowmobile
a yellow and black 2008 Ski Doo 600 CC snowmobile
a grey 2013 Can Am Outlander 650 ATV, with two-up seat and winch

ATV Theft-Battle River Area of Battleford

On April 27th, 2017, around 2:30 a.m. a green POLARIS 500 SPORTSMAN ATV was stolen from a rural location in the Battle River area of Battleford, Saskatchewan.

Mischief-Tisdale

Sometime during the evening of May 4th 2017 and the morning of May 5th 2017, there was a significant amount of damage done to 2 separate tractors at a commercial property on the eastern edge of Tisdale. Unknown person(s) entered onto the property and damaged a series of wiring on the tractors and interfered with the fuel and hydraulic systems in addition to other damage. At this time a repair estimate for the damage is unknown but is likely to be into the thousands of dollars.

Assist to Identify-Canora Co-op Theft

On March 22, 2017, at approximately 9:40am, Canora / Sturgis RCMP responded to a theft of groceries complaint at the Canora Co-op. Witnesses advised they saw the female suspect leave the store without paying for the groceries, get into a dark green or dark mid-size car and travel south on Highway 9, stopping to possibly change the license plate.

In the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 27th, 2017 a rural property and shop located near Hillmond in the RM of Britannia was broken into, tools were stolen including a STIHL chainsaw, 5 socket sets, and 2 helmets.
 
Suspects attempted to steal a pickup truck located on the property. A suspect also attempted to steal a truck at a business in Marshall.

During the early morning of February 10, 2017, a male broke into a business situated on the 300 block of Central Avenue North in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. The male suspect gained entry to the store by breaking and exterior window. Once inside the suspect damaged a number of items before leaving with merchandise from the store.

Truck Theft-Southwest of Prince Albert

On Monday, April 24th, 2017 a residence southwest of Prince Albert was broken into shortly after the homeowner left, between the hours of 9:00 A.M and 10:00 A.M.  The suspect(s) stole a 2013 Ford F150 crew-cab truck.  The truck was later found damaged near a residential area immediately south of the City of Prince Albert.  RCMP are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the suspect(s).

Theft of Battery- RM Lajord Saskatchewan

On February 8th 2017 at approximately 11:16 am a male entered a farm yard in the RM of Lajord and stole a battery off a swatter. The suspect was captured on a surveillance camera.

Vehicle Arson-West of North Battleford

Edam Gas Station Arson

2017-04-13 at 03:30 am, the Edam Esso gas station was set on fire. Unknown suspects used an accelerate and set the pumps  and front of the gas station on fire and fled the scene in a unknown vehicle. Assist to Identify-Rural Clavet Theft

On April 12, 2017, the suspect entered a rural yard in the Clavet area.  The suspect proceeded to steal several thousand dollars worth of tools and fuel.  The male suspect appears to be wearing a green shirt with "Loon Lake" on the front.  The truck appears to be a second-generation (1993-2001) extended cab Dodge pickup, white or silver in color with aftermarket rims.  It is likely a diesel truck as they stole a large quantity of diesel fuel.

Edam General Store Arson

In the early morning hours of December 14th, 2016 at Edam, Saskatchewan it was discovered that the Edam General Store was set ablaze. The general store was burnt to the ground and posed a substantial loss to the community of Edam Saskatchewan. Upon further investigation surveillance video showed a male dressed in dark clothing exiting an older model sedan, possibly white in color attending to the general store moments before the fire had occurred. The Turtleford RCMP is seeking information in identifying this person and the vehicle used.

Theft of Bobcat-Maidstone

Maidstone RCMP are currently investigating a matter that occurred on April 20/2017 at approximately 0145hr Tekron Mechanical was broken into by two male suspects.  The suspects proceeded to cut the lock on the gate, entered the compound and attached a 2006 Trailtech Trailer, Grey: VIN: 2CD33AL9462020487, AB Plate: 5FF4-61, to their White Ford UHAUL Truck.  The suspects then loaded up a 2013 Bobcat T750 Track Machine, valued at $81,640.00.  The Bobcat had a sticker on it that said 'TEKRON'. The suspects were captured on surveillance video- One male suspect wearing dark clothing, and dark hat, approximately 5'8".  Both suspects had their faces covered.

On March 30th, 2017, a red FORD F150 truck was stolen from PAYNTON, Saskatchewan and then was seen in the area of a Home invasion on Sweetgrass First Nation.  On March 31st at 1 a.m. the truck was seen being left at the DELMAS bar by three people.  Two females and one male.

Armed Robbery-Rosthern

On 2017 04 17 at approximately 10:00pm a unknown male subject entered the Rosthern Hotel Bar with a older style handgun and demanded cash from the employee. The male suspect had his face partially covered with a black and red mask, male suspect was wearing a black leather jacket with a colourful shirt underneath. The suspect was approximately 5'6 and 155 pounds between 20-30 years of age. Suspect then fled through the front door with approximately $300.00 cash. Suspect is believed to be of aboriginal decent.

Armed Robbery - Homicide - La Ronge

The investigation into the death of Simon Grant is ongoing. Investigators are seeking assistance from the public to identify three suspects who are believed to be involved in this incident. See attached photographs - they are the best quality available.

Suspect # 1 - Details: Believed to be male, wearing a black balaclava, black hooded sweatshirt, dark coloured pants/jeans and carrying a light coloured baseball bat.

Suspect #2 - Details: Believed to be male, wearing black cap, black scarf, black hooded jacket and black pants with the word "BLACK" written across the front in white letters and white striping on the back lower legs. This suspect was also wearing gloves and carrying a handgun.

 

Suspect #3 - Details: Believed to be male, wearing a black balaclava, black long sleeve sweatshirt, dark pants/jeans, carrying a black duffle bag and handgun.


These three individuals entered the business with three known weapons: a baseball bat and two hand guns. We are unable to provide further descriptors of these items at this time.

 

It is believed these three individuals were inside the business for a very brief period of time (less than five minutes). During this same time period, Simon Grant was assaulted and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

 

If you recall seeing any vehicles or people leaving the area near Louisiana’s BBQ Restaurant in La Ronge between 10:45 and 11:15 p.m. on April 15, 2017, we encourage you to report this information to police. Pharmacy Break & Enter-Melfort

On Saturday the 25th of February, 2017 around 4:40 a.m the Pharmasave pharmacy in Melfort, SK was broken into. Entry was gained through the main doors. The suspects are one adult male and one adult female. The male is described as being in his early 30's, 5'9 and of an average build. At the time of the offence, the male was wearing a light colored hoodie and dark pants. The female suspect is described as being in her early 30's, 5'7, and slender. The female was wearing a black hoodie and dark colored pants with a light solid stripe down the side of her legs.

The suspects have not been identified at this time.

The items taken were a variety of prescription medications including: Hydromorphone, Morphine, methodone, oxycodone.

Sometime between Sunday evening, February 19th, and Tuesday morning, February 21st, a break, enter and theft occurred at a business along Highway #7 in Rosetown, Sk. Initial investigation has revealed a compound at the business was entered and a number of ATVs, trailers and other recreational items are missing.

 

The matter is currently under investigation by Rosetown RCMP and the RCMP Forensic Identification Section.

Hit & Run-Assiniboia area

The Assiniboia RCMP request the public's assistance in locations the person(s) responsible for a traffic collision that occurred on Highway #2 just north of the Highway #42 junction at approxiamately 7:10pm, January 21st, 2017. The person responsible was driving a northbound vehicle and crossed the centre line, striking a southbound truck and causing damage to the truck's driver side mirrow and window.

Assist to Identify in Theft of Hockey Gear-Saskatoon

On January 25, 2017 at about 2003hrs, the suspect entered the Jemini Arena near Saskatoon, went to the lower level and took a hockey bag full of women’s hockey gear and sticks. The suspect then left the arena.

On 2017-02-15, Yorkton RCMP were notified of a break and enter to a property owned by the Nissan dealership in Yorkton. On January 17th, 2017, two youth entered a business located at 9800
Territorial Drive in NORTH BATTLEFORD, Saskatchewan, and stole a pocket knife from the display case.  The youth removed the knife and hid the packaging on another shelf and left the store after being noticed by the staff.  The youth then went to another store at that location and attempted to steal a pair of pants but were observed by staff before they could take anything.

Assist to Identify in Shellbrook Armed Robbery

In the early evening hours of January 29, 2017, Shellbrook RCMP were dispatched to an armed robbery at the Shellbrook Hotel. A Caucasian male walked into the establishment with a machete and stole the tray from the cash register. The male left on foot out the main entrance where he most likely got into a vehicle of unknown description and fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect was described as having a black scarf over his face, wearing a grey and black hoody with grey ski pants.

On January 23rd and 31st, 2017, a suspect went into a business on Railway Avenue East in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, and stole a Booster Pack valued at $320 and a Dewalt Drill valued at $230.

WANTED-Steven Albert McCauley

Cumberland House RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 23-year-old Steven Albert McCauley of Cumberland House.

McCauley has a warrant for his arrest and is wanted on the following:

        Assault causing bodily harm – sec. 267(b) CC
        Breach of Recognizance – sec. 811 CC

McCauley is known to frequent Cumberland House, Prince Albert and Saskatoon. He is described as:
