On January 28, 2021, a blue Jeep type vehicle was in the parking lot at the Emerald Ridge School in White City.  The driver of the vehicle was confronted by a member of the public because they were suspected of throwing eggs at houses.  The driver of vehicle described as a young male with blond hair took off from the parking lot hitting a parked Toyota Camry as he left.  The driver was aware he hit the other vehicle but left the scene.  The suspect vehicle has partial plate JML.

Tires Slashed-La Loche

On January 15, 2021 at around 12:28am, two individuals, believed to be teenagers went around La Loche and slashed tires on 10 different vehicles. Six on Toulejour Street, two on Little Lake Ave., and two on Descharme St. While running away the Suspects broke to window to a house at 200 block Montgrand street.

The suspects where described as both wearing checkered jackets one being around 6ft tall while the other was around 5’8.

Stolen Truck, Trailer and Snowmobiles from RM of Meota

Stolen overnight on the 25th of February from the RM of Meota;

2015 Toyota Tundra, Brown in colour bearing Sask license 599LKV, a 30 foot enclosed sled trailer with 4 Ski doo snowmobiles, sledding gear and a generator.

Trailer is described as a Forest River with black and white markings bearing Sask License 591LKV

Break and Enter RM of Maryfeild Shop


Sometime during the night of February 23rd the Rural Municipality of Maryfield shop located at 999 Main Street, Maryfield was broken into. Approximately $2000 worth of tools were stolen including a Milwaukee 3/4 inch impact, Milwaukee 1/2 impact, Milwaukee cordless angle grinder, Milwaukee cordless 1/4 grinder, Milwaukee cordless reciprocating saw, Milwaukee 1/2 inch cordless drill, and a Lincoln 175 wire feed welder. The male suspect appears to be wearing a white or light colored jacket and appeared to be driving a dark colored 1/2 ton Chevrolet short box truck.

Between February 5th and February 12th, 2021, there was a Break and Enter into a business Chamney Crushing LDT in the RM of Enniskillen on a land location close to Northgate and diesel and a battery were stolen.

Theft of Firearms-Near Fenwood

On February 18, 2021, Melville RCMP responded to a suspicious persons/vehicle complaint at a rural property near Fenwood, Saskatchewan. At approximately 4:24 p.m., the homeowner noticed that a black car, driven by an unknown male, had backed in near their garage. As the homeowner went to investigate, the car drove to the end of the laneway and waited.

As the homeowner went back to the house to call 911, they were confronted by a second suspect who had been inside the house. The suspect was walking out of the residence carrying a number of firearms. The suspect allegedly pointed a handgun at the homeowner and fled with the stolen firearms to the waiting car. Both suspects then drove away heading westbound on Township Road 234. The homeowner did not sustain any physical injuries as a result of this incident.

Officers immediately conducted patrols in and around the area but neither the suspects nor the vehicle were located.

Suspect one (the driver) is described as being a white male, possibly in his late 20s, approx. 5’5”-5’6” tall, with a clean-shaven face.

Suspect two is described as being a white male with a light tan, possibly in his mid-30s, approx. 6’0” tall, with a clean-shaven face.

Both suspects were wearing dark hoodies.

The vehicle is described as a black four-door mid-sized sedan, possibly a Chevrolet.

In total, five firearms were stolen from the residence:

30-30 Winchester lever action rifle
30-06 M1 Garand rifle
.22 cal. Cooey Model 82 with a scope
12 gauge shotgun
10 gauge shotgun


As the suspects may have access to firearms, the public is reminded to not approach anyone they believe to be a suspect in this incident. Anyone with information is asked to immediately call their local police service or Melville RCMP at (306) 728-1700 or 911 in an emergency.

Theft from Zak’s Building Supply and Contracting in Hague

On the morning of February 11, 2021 the Rosthern RCMP received a complaint of Theft from Zak’s Building Supply and Contracting in Hague. Several cordless and hand tools were stolen. Suspect was driving a smaller silver or white car, with possible right fender damage.

Break, Enter & Thefts to SaskPower Facilities-Southern Saskatchewan

The Weyburn RCMP are asking for assistance from the public for information regarding a number of thefts from SaskPower facilities in the past few weeks.


Two SaskPower substations in the Halbrite area reported heavy ground cables were stolen.


Not only is this incredibly dangerous, it could also cause power outages to large areas in Saskatchewan.


The Weyburn RCMP would like to ask that if anyone sees people or vehicles at any SaskPower substations in the evening/overnight hours, that do not appear to belong there, to contact the RCMP.

Sometime between 5:00 P.M on January 11 and 8:00A.M January 12, 2021 four mail boxes were broken into at the Domremy Post Office in Domremy, SK. The mail boxes were pried open and the contents were taken.

Beak & Enter into Mosque-RM of Corman Park

On January 27, 2021, between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. in the RM of Corman Park, Saskatchewan, two suspects were noted on video surveillance using a pry bar to enter the Baitur Rahmat Mosque damaging the doors in the process. The two suspects are observed arriving and leaving the scene in grey car believed to be an early 2000’s Honda Civic.

Break, Enter & Thefts at the Shell Lake Museum

Spiritwood RCMP are investigating three break and enters to the Shell Lake museum in the last month.  The first took place between 2021-01-10 and the 21st , Second between February 10th to 17 2021 and the third between the 18th and the 19th of February 2021. 

There was damage done to the museum and the following is a list of items stolen. The items missing are ;

  •  a bugle-----from glass cupboard. Not very big but definitely old
  • A school hand bell used in the Shell Lake school
  • the donation box that sat on the desk......wooden frame around plexi glass
  • a rubic cube 3" 
  • A double barrel shot gun 12 gauge circa 1900
  • sword in sheath from WW1
  • mantel clock
  • tonette in box
  • record player/radio with wine colored vinyl trim
  • slicer,sugar spoon,berry spoon-silver plated
  • tobacco pipes (at least two)
  • a keystone movie camera
  • brownie hawkeye camera

Stolen Trucks from Hague Dealership

Rosthern RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance with any information regarding a Break and Enter that occurred between the hours of 10:30 PM and 11:30 PM on February 16th, 2021 at the Valley Ford Dealership in Hague, Saskatchewan.

During the Break and Enter two vehicles were stolen, which were described as:

Residential Break, Enter & Theft in the Glaslyn Area

File: 2021-147538

Between 20210126 – 20210202 – A break in occurred at a land location near Hwy 4 in the RM of Parksdale (Glaslyn area). Entry was gained through the front entrance, and the following was taken;

·         WEN Lumber Electric log splitter 6 ton – orange and black

·         Honda 3000 watt generator – classic red

·         2x Heavy Duty custom made aluminum loading ramps

·         Stihl 43cc chainsaw – orange and grey

·         2x electric heaters

·         2x ice fishing rods

Along with a Skidoo – Summit X white and red, with cracked panels, missing “Ski-doo” decal on throttle side of vehicle. Serial number believed to be 2BPSTNEG6EV000026; could possibly be 2BTSTNEG8E000030 (owner bought two identical models and was unable to ensure which was which)

Serious water damage to the residence occurred due to the severe low temperatures causing major flooding to the basement.

Sometime on or between February 1, 2021 and February 2, 2021 suspect(s) entered the property situated at NW 23 Con#: 42 Site: 28 W 2 on the 41 highway approximately 15 Km West of Wakaw, SK. They attempted to take tires and rims off of vehicles. The suspect(s) caused damage to the vehicles and property and smashed the vehicle doors. The suspect(s) entered the property by skidoo.

Sometime after 5:30 pm on Friday, Jan. 29th/2021 a tandum axle, enclosed work trailer was broken into on a residential job site.  This occurred at land location SW 02 37 03 w3rd just north of #5 hwy east of Range Road 3032.   The rear door lock and latch were cut to gain entry.  Work tools totalling $10 000 were stolen.

Stolen Snowmobiles and Trailer-Oxbow

On Friday, January 29, 2021 the Carnduff RCMP Detachment received a report of a significant theft of a trailer and two snowmobiles from a residential yard located in the Town of Oxbow.  The trailer was described as a homebuilt trailer bearing Saskatchewan license plate 448 LGS.


The snowmobiles were described as a white coloured 2008 Polaris RMK 600 bearing Saskatchewan license plate 358 MD (VIN: SN1PK6FS48C355510), and a yellow honeycomb coloured 2005 Ski-Doo Renegade bearing Saskatchewan license plate 359 MD (VIN: 2BPSBS5C25V000037).

Snowmobiles Stolen from Nickorick Beach

On December 5th, 2020, two snowmobiles were stolen from a cabin at Nickorick Beach in Wakaw SK. One snowmobile was recovered near by but the other is still missing. The stolen snowmobile is a 2012 Summit 600, black in colour with yellow trim in skiis and body.

Cattle Theft-Moosomin

Between October and December of 2020, a local farmer had 35 cows and 28 calves on multiple sections of land between Moosomin and Fairlight went missing. All the cows were branded with a bar over TE. Livestock Services are assisting with the investigation, and will know if any of these animals hit auction marts, etc. The 35 cows consisted of 22 black and white 13 red cows. Steer calves have green ear tags, heifer calves have yellow ear tags, calves aren't branded. This is being investigated as a theft.

Break & Enter to Residence in Swan Plain

On Sunday January, 10 2021 there was a Break and Enter to a residence on Main Street in Swan Plain, SK. The suspects appeared to have parked in the driveway in front of the residence and forced their way into the residnece through the front door.

The suspects got away with a red Mastercraft tool box about 6/7 feet tall full of tools as well as an air compressor.

Propane Tank Theft West of Carnduff

On January 16, 2021, a battery operator reported a white 450L CO-OP brand propane tank “propane pig” and a smaller white 100L CO-OP brand propane tank was stolen overnight from a battery site at SE 10-3-33 W1 just west of Carnduff. The 450L tank’s serial number is V879112.

Break, Enter & Theft at PSI Mining-East of Saskatoon

Sometime around December 27th, 2020 PSI Mining quonset and office (Thiesen Rd, 15 minutes east of Saskatoon located in a gravel pit), was broken into and numerous tools were stolen. It appeared that two vehicles with multiple suspects cut the lock to the entry gate and pushed it over causing damage to the gate.

Two Snowmobiles & Trailer Stolen from Maymont Area

On January 8th, 2021 two snowmobiles and a homebuilt trailer were stolen from outside a residence in Maymont, SK.
Members of the community reported seeing a red or brown van pulling a trailer with snowmobiles out of Maymont at around 11:30 am that day.

One of the snowmobiles was recovered from a property in Delmas, SK.

The trailer and stolen snowmobile still missing is a black 2014 Polaris Pro RMK 800.

On December 29, 2020 at around 1:54 am, 2 unidentified persons broke into the fenced area of the RM of Moose Creek maintenance yard. The persons cut a hole in the chain linked fence and accessed an unlocked C-can. Nothing was stolen. The unidentified persons were driving an older two toned silver and dark grey SUV.

Sometime over night on January 9, 2021, someone stole a 2017 Polaris Razor XP1000 (3NSVFE993HF930750) from an acreage in the RM of Dundurn. The ATV was parked outside by the garage. The vehicle is similar to the one pictured below.

Theft of Vintage Case 2836 Thrasher from Hague Heritage Land

The Rosthern RCMP and Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers are asking your help in solving the following crime:

Fuel Theft-Waskesiu Lake

The Waskesiu Lake RCMP are requesting the publics assistance in locating the person responsible for a theft of fuel from LT's Food and Fuel off of highway #2 and the Waskesiu Lake junction on December 29, 2020 at approximately 2:15 PM.

A male in a white Ford truck with rubber tubs in the back filled up with $90 worth of diesel and then left LT's Food and Fuel without paying. The white Ford truck then travelled south bound towards Prince Albert.

Break & Enter near Goodeve

On December 10th, 2020, a break and enter occurred on a property approximately 2 miles north of Goodeve at approximately 6:15pm and last seen on property at 9:28pm. At least two suspects can be seen throwing items into possibly a Dodge Caravan (or similar style van) with two different styled rims. There was a 2nd vehicle possibly an older Ford or Chevy SUV.

RM of Insinger- Break, Enter and Theft of F-350

On the night of December 21st, 2020 between the hours of 11:22pm and 11:28pm, two unknown individuals walked onto the grounds of the RM building in Insinger. The suspects entered into the shed through the door on the right. Once inside, the suspects stole the Ford F-350. The F-350 has a slip gas tank on the back and a low profile light on its roof. License plate 313LJX. VIN 1FTWW31R78EA99096 (Right picture). The tire impressions were found on the property of another unknown vehicle. Both the truck and other vehicle left the property.

Copper Wire Theft-Gravelbourg

Between 07:00 AM on Saturday December 5, 2020 and 08:30 PM Sunday December 6, 2020 someone stole 2 cables from a welding truck parked in front of TOTO & CO IRONWORKS on 1 Avenue West in Gravelbourg. One of the cable was #1 gauge 250 feet long and the other one 180 feet long #2 gauge.

Break & Enter to Garage Near St. Walberg

On or about November 27, 2020, a detached garage to a residence near the community of St. Walburg within the RM of Frenchman Butte, SK was broken into and a number of items were stolen, including a Dewalt cordless impact drill, a Big Buddy heater, vehicle battery charger, a battery for a camper, and a large Jerry can of gas.

An old motor home was noticed near the residence on that date, however, no pertinent details were known about the camper.

Break and Enters in Lake Lenore and Muenster

On November 29th, 2020 Humboldt RCMP were dispatched to multiple Break and Enters in the towns of Muenster and Lake Lenore.

3 buildings on Railway Street in Muenster, had been broken into between the hours of 8:00 pm and 4:00 am the next morning. There were also 3 attempted break and enters into 3 separate buildings in Lake Lenore during this same time period. Unknown suspect(s) forced entry into these businesses and stole items once inside.

RCMP believe all these incidents are related.

The Humboldt RCMP and Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance from the public in solving a break and enter that occurred in Humboldt. At approximately 3:15 a.m. on the morning of August 14, a storage building on the 1200 block of 5th Avenue in Humboldt, SK was broken into. Suspects forced entry and approximately $200 dollars of merchandise was stolen. It is believed that 2-3 persons are responsible for this break-in. Local RCMP continue to investigate this matter.

Theft of pressurized gas tanks from Foam Lake

On the night or early morning of August 5th, 2020, a shed outside a business in Foam Lake was broken into. Approximately 6 pressurized tanks as seen below were stolen. Three of the tanks contained mig gas used for welding, two tanks contained oxygen and one tank contained helium.

SaskPower Copper Wire Theft - Maymont Area

On July 5th, 2020 around 9:30am there was a power outage in the Maymont area that was the result of an attempted theft of Copper wire from a SaskPower transformer station. In the attempt to steal the copper cables a transformer blew causing damage that was dangerous to SaskPower employees and the thieves themselves.

Break in to Hall in Lake Lenore

On April 14th, 2020 Humboldt RCMP were dispatched to a break in to a community hall in Lake Lenore. Sometime between March 23rd and April 14th unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the hall, which is located in the 200 block of 2nd Avenue. The building was vandalized for approximately $1400 in damages. RCMP continue to investigate this matter and are requesting the public’s assistance with any information regarding this.

These two unknown persons involved in this break & enter were caught on CCTV entering a business in the early morning hours in the Hamlet of McCord, SK, Once inside the business, the individuals removed several sets of vehicle tires and batteries. The suspects departed the business, entered the rear storage yard where 6 electric fuel pumps were removed.

The Greenwater RCMP and Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance from the public in solving the following crime which between June 5, 2019 and June 12, 2019. During this time, unknown person(s) attended, broke into and entered into House 75 on Yellow Quill First Nation, Saskatchewan. Multiple items were stolen from the residence and significant damaged was caused to the property.

At approximately 12:30am on Wednesday, June 12th, the Iron Grill Steakhouse in Kamsack was broken into. The suspect(s) broke the glass out of the South entrance door, and stole several bottles of alcohol.

Slight of Hand Theft-North Battleford

On 2018-08-01 the above pictured female was involved in a sleight of hand theft of cash from Canadian Tire. This female brought two high value items for purchase to the checkout. Once the items had been rung in the female handed the cashier a pile of $20 bills. The cashier counted the bills and then the female took the bills back to count them again herself. While doing so the female challenged the clerk on the amount shown on the register and as the cashier looked at the till screen to confirm the female skimmed off a quantity of the bills before returning the remaining ones to the cashier. Once the cashier received the bills back they were placed into the register without confirming. The female leaves the store but returned minutes later with the items requesting a full cash refund for the purchase. Upon review of video
surveillance by the store owner and review of the night cash out it was determined that the female was able to steal $140.00 cash.

Historical Criminal Negligence Causing Death

 

Prince Albert RCMP continue to investigate a historical Criminal Negligence Causing Death which occurred on the night of May 4th, 1985. A grid road northeast of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan in the RM of Paddockwood was washed out from heavy rains that year and was marked with signs on both sides of the wash out.  Unknown person(s) removed the sign from one side of the washout; subsequently, 23 year old Jacqueline Lavoie drove her car into the washed out portion of the roadway and died from injuries sustained in the collision.  Two passengers were seriously injured.

2009 GMC Sierra Theft in Melville

Melville RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in locating the person or persons responsible for the theft of a dark grey 2009 GMC Sierra in Melville, Saskatchewan.
