Police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a 54-year-old man who walked away from the Forensic Psychiatric Hospital in Coquitlam.
Terrance Scott Geisbrecht was last seen on July 21. Coquitlam RCMP said in media release they believe he may have “left the Greater Vancouver area.”
Geisbrecht was found guilty — but not criminally responsible due to a mental disorder — for killing two men in Ft. St. John in 2004. Daryl Esouloff and George Milkovich were found beaten to death in their apartment.
He has been at the Coquitlam hospital since the conclusion of his trial in 2006.
Without his medication, he could be a danger to himself or others.
Police say Geisbrecht, who is 6-foot-2, 260 pounds, walks with a noticeable limp. He has short, brown hair but may have shaved his hair.
He was last seen wearing a black hat, black leather jacket and black pants.
Without his medication, Geisbrecht could become a danger to himself or someone else.
If you see Geisbrecht, call 911 and do not approach him.
If you have information on Geisbrecht’s whereabouts call the Coquitlam RCMP non-emergency number at 604-945-1550 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
