At approximately 3:30 am on Thursday, March 16, 2017, a rancher in the Ormiston district saw two persons stealing calves from his pasture. The rancher saw a dark coloured Ford extended cab truck parked in an approach along Grid 717, which took off West bound when they saw the rancher coming toward them. The rancher followed the truck to Highway 36, where he stopped following the vehicle.
Three calves, all 3-7 days old, were stolen.
It appeared that there was one male and one female involved in this theft.
