On July 17, 2026, at approximately 1:49 a.m., Rosthern RCMP responded to an alarm at Lanovaz Family Foods in Duck Lake. The alarm was later confirmed to be an active break and enter.
Two males, both wearing masks and gloves, entered the business after smashing a door window. One suspect was described as larger in build and the other smaller. Pop, ice cream and cigarettes were stolen.
Camera footage was obtained; however, there are currently no clear identifying features of the suspects.
