Theft of Signs-Davidson

Craik RCMP received a report from The Town of Davidson regarding 2 signs being stolen – a large metal sign (cut to look like a train) and a sign with information on the history of the railway. Signs were last seen on August 6th, 2025 on Railway Street and the end of Washington Avenue.

The train sign weighs 200lbs-300lbs and is around 12ft by 4ft in size.

The information sign reads “all aboard, this railway was laid in 1889, station built in 1905, last steam engine in 1958”.
